Beautifully remodeled and upgraded two bedroom, two bath ground-floor condominium. Spacious floor plan with rare, unobstructed views of the ocean and beautiful Papohaku Beach. Large, private lanai and well-maintained landscaping and gardens.

This condo is fully equipped with high-quality furnishings and appliances. Large screen TV and DVD in main room, flat panel and DVD in the master bedroom, free wireless Internet accessible from anywhere in the unit. Free local and long distance calls (US Mainland and Hawaii only). Tiled lanai with comfortable furniture including table and chairs, chaise lounge, beach towels and beach chairs. Beautiful pool, hot tub, tennis courts and gas BBQ on-site.

Bug Infested and Dark

Noticed a moldy smell immediately upon entering property. Condo was spacious and orderly but dark due to lack of lighting and dark decor. Cockroach infestation in kitchen and tiny bugs in kitchen and in bedroom and master bathroom. This was a real turnoff! Property Manager was unresponsive to request for roach motels and other general ques's although did provide some lightbulbs for burnt out ones. Overall condo still dark inside due to lack of lighting. Lack of small glasses in kitchen but pretty good kitchen cooking supplies overall. Condo was serviceable otherwise and liked the beach supplies. I would investigate the moldy smell and definitely get rid of the roach and bug infestation. Owner of property very nice and responsive but onsite Property Manager was evasive which you need to rely on when at the condo. I would recommend the place only if these issues were fixed.

It was a nice, clean unit pretty well equipped in a good location. We had good customer service & I would recommend it to friends. We had use of the pool & hot tub if we chose to use them.

Relaxing get away

This place was all that was advertised and we were very comfortable. We especially liked dining on the patio. The owner was especially responsive to requests such as what condiments had been left by previous guests.

Spacious and Clean with Spectacular Ocean View and Beach Access

Our family had a wonderful time on the island of Moloka'i and we enjoyed our overall stay at the Ke Nani Kai.

Pros:

Ke Nani Kai's property grounds were well maintained with adorning gorgeous tropical plants. (I am a plant lover.)

The ground's keepers were very friendly and helpful (one gentleman took extra effort to show us the access point to Kepuhi Beach).

Great communication and easy transaction with owner, Jim.

The condo was very clean and well maintained.

Beautiful unobstructed ocean views as described, which made for beautiful sunset lightning too.

Good value for the space and the amenities.

Cons:

Some items need some tender loving care, such as the patio screen door, upright fan and vacuum cleaner. (Very minor displeasures.)

Wished we had more vacation time to stay longer. ;)

Tips:

Remember to pack your own toiletries.

The General Store in Maunaloa is a few minutes a way by car. There is also a store at the end of the Ke Nani Kai's road, which has nearly everything.

Stop at Kumu Farms (outside of the airport heading west) for fresh, organic produce.

We had an awesome time here! I would give it 4.5 stars. Thank you Jim.
