Guest access

everything en suite. This space has a private entry and is a private space with no shared spaces. However, being a former garage, it is attached to the main house. The shared door is dead-bolted on host's side, and there is a chain lock on the guest's side for added security.

Having been a transplant to the area myself, I have had the good pleasure of playing tour guide for much of my family and friends when they come visit. I can recommend places to eat, things to see and things to do, in Franklin and the vicinity. Neighborhood overview

located in Heath Place, just outside the historic downtown core. Carnton Lane is the original road that once led to the beautiful Carnton plantation. Walk the short distance down our street to the Eastern Flank Battlefield and visit the confederate cemetery and tour the Plantation and its extensive grounds.

Getting around

The plantation is within walking distance, however the rest of the surrounding areas are best visited via car, as the sidewalks start halfway between the cottage and the downtown core. Distance from the cottage to downtown Franklin destinations is about 6 min by car. Franklin has ample free parking both on the street, a lot behind Starbucks and within 2 free parking garages.
