The home is graced with large 2 story open floorplan that makes it perfect for family and friends. The high ceilings and many windows allow lots of light. The wood floors with persian carpets; crown moldings and formal staircase remind you of the days of elegance and grace. This home has a private heated pool with in ground jacuzzi spa. Plenty of comfortable furnishings make the pool area a great place to spend a private afternoon.
Ascend the winding, formal staircase to the second level with ocean views from the second floor balcony and plenty of seating to watch the sunset.
The second floor is a master suite with 2 balconies, one with a pool view and the other with an ocean view. The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with two sinks, jacuzzi tub, walk in shower and toilet. This bedroom has 47' flat panel wall mounted TV. The adjoining sitting room is perfect for a office or small child's bedroom offering a queen size sofa bed, built in cabinets with an additional TV.
The main floor living area has a large leather couch, leather club chair, fabric club chair and second ultra suede two seat sofa. The living room has a 55' flat panel TV mounted above the fireplace.
The kitchen has mahogany cabinets with stainless steel top of the line appliances built for a gourmet chef. Open bar with bar stools allows your guests to be part of the cooking show.
The home has a complete theater system with indoor/outdoor built in speakers. French doors and lots of windows make the main floor an inviting environment. Descend to the separated first floor wing where you will find a laundry room with plenty of storage and cabinet space. There is a second master suite with a king bed and plush linens, a large private cabana bath with jacuzzi tub and glass stall shower, huge walk-in closet with built ins. The downstairs master suite has a 50' flat panel wall mounted TV.
There is a third guest bathroom in the hallway and another guest bedroom with two twin beds for additional guests. The twin bedroom has a 47' flat panel wall mounted TV.
In May & June 2014, the exterior of the home was completely redone. Updates include, new metal roof system, new balconies and railings, new exterior paint, renovated pool with new diamond brits, new glass tiles and LED pool lights, all new landscaping and night lighting in the front and back of the home.
NOTE: As of November 2, 2015 and updated January 31, 2017, the City of Fort Lauderdale passed new laws and ordinances to regulate vacation rental properties. There are almost 1000 vacation rental properties listed on Homeaway that are within the City of Fort Lauderdale and many of these properties are unlicensed and operating illegally.
My property has all required licenses and the my City of Fort Lauderdale Certificate of Compliance Number is 1500531.
All potential vacation renters should ask the owner or property manager to provide you with the documented registration information. Each property should carry six different licenses.

We purchased the Casablanca Beach House in 2003 and have been renting this home as short term vacation rentals since 2004. My properties are Guaranteed to be 100% Legally Operated Vacation Rentals - No worries of your vacation being cancelled due to City of Fort Lauderdale Code Enforcement shutting down the house you have rented. As of November 1, 2015, all vacation rentals located in the City of Fort Lauderdale must be licensed by the City of Fort Lauderdale as a vacation rental. All of my properties have every license required to legally operate as a vacation rental including the new City of Fort Lauderdale Licenses. My Certificate of Occupancy Number is 1500531 and all licensed vacation rental are required to post this license number in their advertisement. Unlicensed vacation rental properties are subject to closure, fines, penalties and cancellation of reservations. I am licensed by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations, The Broward County Tourist Development Department and the Florida Department of Revenue, The City of Fort Lauderdale Business License, Broward County Business License and City of Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental License . I am happy to provide copies of my license as they are required to be posted in the properties. These are the six licenses required by every vacation rental. Part of the new City Ordinance limits occupancy to a maximum of two people per bedroom excluding children under the age of 13. Therefore, a three bedroom property has a maximum occupancy of six guests excluding children under the age of 13. If the home you are considering, is advertising anything more than two people per bedroom, then they are clearly violating the law. So if in doubt when looking for vacation rentals, ask the property manager or owner.

A wonderful stay
My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Walter's beautiful home in Fort Lauderdale. It is very close to the beach, but the house also has a beautiful pool too. This is a lovely neighborhood where everyone is friendly. I would highly recommend the house to others.

Great house, furnished with very comfortable furniture. Two master suites. Stainless kitchen. Heated pool and hot tub. Just steps to the beach. We would differently stay there again. Close to all the beaches

Literally steps to the beach from the front door of this home for early morning and late night secluded walks on the beach. Outdoor activities: daily snorkel and scuba dive trips, charter fishing boats, party fishing boats, public fishing pier, jet skis and boat rentals, gambling cruises or drive to Everglades for air boat and swamp buggy rides, Indian reservations, alligator farms, nature trails, kayaking, fishing, bird watching. NOTE: As of November 2, 2015, the City of Fort Lauderdale passed new laws and ordinances to regulate vacation rental properties. There are almost 1000 vacation rental properties listed on Homeaway that are within the City of Fort Lauderdale. Only 43 Properties are legally registered.
