Beautiful Bungalow on Piedmont Park in the heart of Midtown

This is a tastefully renovated house in a good location. Spacious enough for our family of 5, adequate kitchen supplies, close to the park, restaurants, Trader Joe's. On street parking was never a problem during our 4 night stay. Agree with previous reviewer that the heat is uneven and the house could be cleaner. What is undisclosed is that the owner and his partner (not the property manager) live in the basement of the house. While this was convenient when there was a plumbing issue, it was unexpected. Our three 20-some year olds can get together only a few times per year and when we can all meet, they like to play acoustic guitar and sing. That is the primary reason that we rent an entire house and not a spacious condo or hotel. We are inside with the windows closed and so not disruptive to neighbors or others. However, the undisclosed owner in the basement called us at midnight and asked us to be quiet. It was disappointing and could have been avoided if advertised as such. We certainly would have rented a house in which the singing could have taken place had we known. In addition, the owner scheduled a maintenance visit during one of the days we were there and informed us as such without asking us if it would work for us. While we appreciated him fixing the ice maker (the scheduled visit) and plumbing, in my past rental experience, we have been asked what time may be best for our schedule.

We loved this place. It has plenty of room, tastefully designed, and it just a few blocks from Piedmont Park, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, and the Ponce City Market. Also a short Lyft drive from other parts of the city (Edgewood, Buckhead, Virginia Highlands) and about a 20min ride to the airport. Kitchen is equipped for you to be able to make your meals at home. Owners are very responsive to questions. Would love to stay here again if I find myself traveling to Atlanta in the future!

Very quiet and comfortable for our family visit. Well equipped kitchen, thoughtful details such as bottled water, milk, jam and pancake mix were provided and the owner, Stew was easy to reach and accommodated our request for an early check-in and late checkout. The one block walk into Piedmont Park with kids playgrounds was a huge plus! Small details to know - the central heat feels uneven and centered in the back two bedrooms, the freezer was not making ice and the cleaning crew could be more thorough. We would recommend it.
