The bus number 2 takes you Downtown, OSU campus, Columbus Convention Center, Nationwide Arena in approximately 20-30 minutes and anywhere else in Columbus via transfer. The bus schedule can be found on COTA website or in the welcome book in the house. So you don't need a car to get around. Uber is reliable and affordable. If you are returning late Uber will take you here from downtown for about $10-$14.
Parking. If you travel by the car, there is plenty of space to safely park in the private spot in the back of the house or on the street.
Columbus has a very popular bicycle share program (CoGo, you can download the app) with convenient locations all over Columbus. Columbus also has a car share program called Car2Go (download the app for locations/info). You can sign up for a membership online prior to your trip. If you have a Car2Go membership in another city, it is valid in Columbus.
It is a beautiful, cheerful, friendly, safe and quiet neighborhood 10-15 minutes drive from downtown and OSU campus, and, the lovely Como park, Park of Roses with bike/walk trail right out of my back door.
Perfect location for getting an urban fix for yourself, and then coming home and relaxing in a quiet area.
