Charming House and Great location
We enjoyed our stay in St Augustine and this place allowed us to easily walk to the various historical sites, shopping, and restaurants in the downtown area. The house was very clean and comfortable. The deck was great to watch sunsets and have breakfast. If we were to ever come back to St Augustine we would definitely stay there again.
I enjoyed my stay it was very relaxing. Great food, first time in St. Augustine.
Very clean, quiet neighborhood, great food in the area. Owners live on site, very nice people. Every time he saw me made sure to ask if I needed anything. Would stay at this property again. Owner also owns the property across the street. Thanks Michael had a great time.
Very comfortable,clean and quiet
The location is an easy drive to restaurants & the historic area. We used Old Towne trolley and once we got our tickets, were able to easily walk to and from one of the trolley stops.
Hospitable hosts and nice views
The Harbor View was clean, had a good layout and a nice porch view. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We'll return!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, clean, well managed, and super convenient VRBO. It is a close drive to everything in and around St. Augustine. We often came back to rest for an hour in the peaceful rooms, before heading back out to tour. In Sept. parking in St. A. was not a problem, so we drove everywhere. The washer/dryer was a plus for us, as we were extending our trip for another 7 days. I appreciated that all cabinets and drawers were neatly labeled. Sure saved countless open and close efforts to find items. Wine, chips and cold water bottles greeted us and were much appreciated. The WiFi was out...but quickly reset before we returned with a few groceries. Attentive service from owners. Highly recommended, hope to stay here again some day.
St. Augustine has a 450 year history in the making. It is truly a gem. Its lively and diverse downtown and close proximity to the beach makes it both stimulating and relaxing. The downtown area provides live music, entertainment, shopping, sight seeing, dining, bicycle and scooter rentals. The World Golf village is about 20 minutes drive north of the city. The Tour Trains provides transportation and information to the many attractions such as the San Sabastian Winery, The Ice House Distillery, Whetstone Chocolate factor, the Fort Castillo De San Marcos and many others. Romance is always in the air in St. Augustine and the city has become a popular place to get married. Often brides and bridal parties can be seen on Horse drawn carriages winding in and out of the downtown city streets. The old and the new provide an interesting mixture that will add to ones memorable moments.
Vilano Beach is north and east. Across the Bridge of Lions is St. Augustine Beach. Both beaches are about a 7 minute drive away. St. Augustine Beach Pier is a popular spot to view Sunsets and fish off the pier. surfing is also a popular activity in this area. The Amphitheatre on A1A host many musical events. The Anesthesia State Park has preserved an area where one can enjoy the feeling of being taken back in time. The people of St. Augustine are most welcoming, helpful and friendly.
