About this property

Beautiful custom log home with over 3 acres invites you to come and relax. Wrap around porch with rocking chairs. Two private rooms downstairs, (each room has 1 full size bed) sleep up to 4 people with their own bathroom. Next door to Fort Yargo in Winder, GA. or if you are visiting Athens. Host lives on site upstairs and would use downstairs to gain access to outside. We do have outdoor cats along with all the forest animals. Excellent place to stay if going to UGA/UGA Athletics, Road Atlanta and close to all shopping and restaurants. Locally there is Athens Botanical Gardens, Chateau Elan and Atlanta.

Perfect place to stay

The home is beautiful. So much space! Bedrooms and kitchen and wonderful living space with total privacy. Judith is the sweetest hostess, lives upstairs, greets you, makes you comfortable, then leaves you to yourself. A real treat!

Lovely, peaceful stay

What a lovely hostess in a beautiful home. My grandson and I loved this comfortable and well equipped log home. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The brownies were a very nice treat! We will stay there again if we ever get to go back to the Athens area again.

Great Log Cabin Get-away

We loved the property. It was a lovely, quiet property. The owner is excellent and on-hand if you need anything. She even left us the most amazing apple spice squares. My husband and I are over 5'10" tall, so we were a little too cozy in the full bed, otherwise, it was a fabulous stay.

Perfect Place - Unbelievable Clean

Such a enjoyable retreat sitting in the rocking chairs viewing nature! We had access to wide selection of drinks and homemade muffins that were delicious! We would have loved to have stayed longer!
