The cabin was excellent!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in a number of cabins in FairPlay and this one is our favorite. It is incredibly clean, the rooms are well-planned, beds are comfortable, and the cabin is very well-stocked. It has everything that you need and nothing that you don't. We will definitely be coming back again.

Perfect Getaway, but Close to Breck & Fairplay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here a few weeks ago and it was great.  Close to Fairplay, easy access off of 285 and 9, a beautiful drive to Breckenridge for tubing and skiing, and then back for a relaxing evening with a wood stove, new furniture (cool log beds!), and some great views from the kitchen and living room windows.

The owners were easy and professional to work with and everything was very nice amd clean.

Our new go-to for a relaxing get away, but close enough to go have some fun in Breck or eat out in Fairplay as well.

Thanks!

Beautiful mountain property.

  • 5 of 5

What a great weekend. This property has all the creature comforts of home in a private mountain setting. The kids enjoyed sledding right out the front door, while the adults enjoyed the spacious living area and views of Mt. Sherman. Quick access to skiing in Breckenridge as well as the towns of Fairplay and Alma were a big plus. The owner was friendly and the place was immaculate. What else do you want. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home to gather family and friends

  • 5 of 5

This past weekend we headed to this beautiful mountain home near the town of Fairplay. We were looking for a home that could accommodate 3 families with close proximity to skiing in Breckenridge without the outrageous resort town prices. This home definitely fit the bill.

The home has 3 spacious bedrooms with gorgeous log beds and 2 separate living areas (one with a pull-out sofa) that are beautifully decorated with a cozy mountain cabin flair. The kitchen was well appointed, everything was fully stocked and there was even a full-sized washer and dryer available, including laundry detergent. I can’t think of one thing we needed that wasn’t in the home for our use.

This home was able to accommodate 13 people very comfortably in such a lovely setting amid towering pines and mountain vistas. We not only enjoyed a day of skiing in Breckenridge and sledding near the property, but also checking out the quaint towns of Fairplay and Alma. The drive from the Denver area was under 2 hours, yet we felt worlds away in the peaceful, relaxing setting. We definitely hope to return to this mountain retreat in the summer too to check out some of the local festivities and fly-fishing in the nearby streams.

If you’re looking for a mountain getaway that has it all, I highly recommend this home! Thank you to the friendly and gracious owners for providing such a welcoming and wonderful place to gather with our family and friends!
