This updated cabin is nestled in the woods near the hosts’ charming 1909 farmhouse. Every detail has a sweet story. The front porch has ample seating for your family. A gas grill and a spot for a bonfire are steps away. The living room is furnished with vintage pieces and boasts a wood-burning stone fireplace. The sofa’s hide-a-bed is super comfy. The newly remodeled kitchen and bath are super clean and well-appointed. Each bedroom has a queen bed and closet. The 2 queen bedrooms are separated by a bathroom, so it’s perfect for 2 couples traveling together. One bedroom can accommodate a pack n play (provided). We welcome families, so the cabin will technically accommodate 7, if one person is a baby! Use the long bench in the LR, TV trays, and outdoor space for dining.

Cute, Cozy and Clean!
We loved our stay here! What a cozy and clean little place! There is plenty of room inside and we enjoyed the unique decor. In the mornings we watched the birds from the little front porch. We will definitely look to stay here again while in town!
Wonderful cabin perfect for a family getaway
We loved the cabin! It was just the right size for us and our 3 young children. We all enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. Great location close to chimney rock and mount Mitchell. We loved the charming antique decor and the yard for the kids to run around in. The washer and dryer were great for washing clothes after a long day of hiking. Thanks so much!
Quaint cabin close to everything with amazing hosts
My partner and I stayed at the cabin recently, and we LOVED it! We were planning on visiting Asheville for our anniversary, but we wanted stay in cabin -- not in a house or apartment. We both enjoy to hike, and we were surprised at how many hikes were within in a 10-15 minute drive! Downtown Asheville was only 20 minutes away too!
Joe and Beverly were wonderful hosts! They gave us a tour of the cabin and recommendations on places to visit and eat. The cabin is right behind their house, but it is still very private. They even had logs and kindling waiting for us in the fireplace when we arrived!
Every piece of furniture and decor has a story behind it, which we really enjoyed! There is plenty of space to cook, relax, and sleep in the cabin.
We look forward to staying at the cabin next time we visit the Asheville area!
Thanks for the kind words. It's guests like you that make hosting so delightful. SO glad you enjoyed your stay, and please come again anytime!
Some of the regions best hiking is right out our back door. Charming downtown Black Mtn. is 2 miles, and Asheville and Biltmore Estate are an easy 15-20 minutes down I-40. Catawba Falls is one exit away. Montreat College is 10 minutes, and you can walk to Ridgecrest Conference Center and its two camps.
