Darling house in a beautiful setting
The house is adorable and was very cozy and convenient for our wedding weekend guests. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had a little glitch upon check-in. Thanks, Keith for a great first VRBO experience.
Great Base Camp
Great place in a nice location. Family of 5 for a 5 night stay. Owner was very responsive to any questions.
Great jumping off point for Olympic National and Seattle (via the Ferry).
Beware of mold!
As soon as we walked in the door we all could smell the mold. Within a few hours my mold sensitive daughter was congested. By the next morning my husband and I were were coughing up pinkish brown phlegm. A few days later we were all sick and still are 3 weeks later. I took a culture of something I coughed up and it grew mold spores. Please do something about the mold before renting this home again!
Hi Wendy- I am very sorry to hear this; we take this very seriously. We have had over 30 guests stay at our house in the past 6 month's, with no other feedback regarding any mold issue. We ourselves have not smelled any mold or mildew, however, we will look into this.
Clean, neat cottage on the water!
Very nice older cottage overlooking the water, in central Bremerton. Our family of five enjoyed our stay here while visiting friends in the area. The house is clean and nicely appointed. Good for families on a budget. Don’t recommend for people with mobility issues or small children due to the stairs down to the property, the deck stairs, and steep embankment down to the water (there is no access to the water, but small children might be tempted to try). Our kids ranged from 5 to 9 years and enjoyed the stay here. The bedrooms have neat decorations. I enjoyed the view very much from the deck. Just keep in mind that it is an older home, one bathroom, and few cable tv channels—good for those looking to relax, but not for those looking for hotel/condo amenities (we were coming off of a stay in downtown Seattle, so it worked well for us to decompress and use as a launching point to visit Poulsbo, Olympic National Park, and Bainbridge Island).
Gorgeous views, attentive owner, spacious and clean home provided everything we needed! Excellent!
Enjoyed coffee on the deck with unobstructed views of the water. Comfortable beds, large kitchen, very clean. Town is close and has all the stores and activities you need to stay busy.
