Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Our family recently returned home from a wonderful week long stay at this cabin. Michael was so nice to work with, everything was as described, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of rental or location. The cabin was clean and we felt right a home from the moment we entered the doors. The town of Grand Lake was charming and we loved the putt putt golf on the board walk. It was great to be centrally located for hikes into the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho National Forest. We set one day aside for shopping in Estes Park, and another day for boating and fishing on both Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake. Of course no matter what we did each day, we would return home every evening and fish in the river as the sun set or maybe just watch the resident river otters at play. The roar of the river was so peaceful and the perfect way to relax at the end of each day. The weather was excellent and that combined with the perfect cabin, perfect host, and perfect location made it severly hard to want to come back to our home state of Texas.

There aren’t enough good things to say about this cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was amazing and perfect for a weekend in Grand Lake. The back deck overlooks a beautiful river. The cabin itself is gorgeous and would be awesome for two couples. It has a main area and a bedroom and then a completely different room you get to via the deck for another couple. It was quiet and secluded, and if we ever come back to Grand Lake, we would love to stay there again. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us, Michael!

Cozy comforts of home while quiet and secluded.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and we chose to stay here. Great choice! Nice, clean, comfortable, cozy, quiet, secluded. It's on a private road. We never saw one vehicle during our stay. The river is right outside the door. Absolutely breathtaking views and scenery. We were excited that this was a pet friendly cabin as well. We brought our two dogs and they really had a blast! THEY LOVED IT! This cabin is also not far from Grand Lake Village. Maybe a 6 minute drive? Also not too far from Grandby. We look forward to going back! Thanks for having us :-)

Excellent property and gorgeous location

  • 4 of 5

The cabin has the rushing Colorado River as a gorgeous stream, less than a hundred feet from a beautiful porch that spans the entire width of the two cabins. Fishing, sitting on the peaceful porch or by a fire pit, and stargazing are the amenities. Inside, the cabins have new appliances, very nice living room furnishings, good heating, and a nicely stocked pantry. The companion cabin without the kitchen is equally well outfitted.

Only downside was non-working Centurylink (wifi worked), master bath with loose tile around the whirlpool tub, loose pedestal sink and very creaky bed frame that was so pretty, but needs major attention.

Overall, we would love to return for longer (if the bed were dealt with). The owner is in California and has obviously poured money into a really beautiful cabin (really!), but local handyman may need some help with the new plumbing installation, Centurylink, and the bed in the master.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time. The cabin and the location was perfect. It was quiet and very relaxing. It is close enough to town to but it still feels like you are out in the woods. We had no problems and everything was as described. Grand Lakes is a great little town and the National park is spectacular. Would visit again.

Amazing cabin setting

  • 5 of 5

Just spend a short, but sweet two nights here and our family absolutely loved it. The cabin is in a great location set off from the main road and only a few miles into town. It had everything our family of five needed for a perfect stay. The Colorado River running through the property is absolutely stunning and we could've spent hours sitting there watching and listening to the rushing water. I really wish I was back there, but hope to visit again someday. Five stars and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.
