Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8
Forest trails to the west, freshwater fun to the east, and your loved ones all around you - what more could you need for a perfect vacation? This cabin in Idaho's stunning Valley County has everything you could ever want in a peaceful, restful getaway. All it's missing is your family and friends!
Nestled right across the street from Cascade Lake, this home for eight is only a short drive away from groceries and restaurants in the town of Cascade. But the appeal of this home lies in its quiet lakeside location. Enjoy nights full of stars and days of fishing by the lake, hiking in the nearby woods, or snowmobiling during the winter. Make sure your dogs come along for the ride - they're more than welcome for a small nightly fee.
Inside, get nice and cozy. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to whip up something nice and tasty, which you can enjoy at the table for eight indoors or with a lake view on the deck. When the sun dips below the hills to the west, get comfy on the leather sectional and stay entertained with some DVDs on the flatscreen TV. There's no WiFi in this home, so be sure to take advantage of this chance to unplug and decompress - if you really need to stay connected, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile cell service work in the area. There's also a gas fireplace in the master bedroom for warming up on chilly days.
You and your loved ones deserve a break. Start planning now. Place your reservation today!

About Vacasa, ID - McCall Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Quite get away
The place was clean, awesome views, from the deck or dinning room table.
Super relaxing
I came to Cascade with my 2 golden retrievers for a relaxing couple of days, and it was dreamy. There were not many people there (it seemed) at this time of year. Lots of leftover snow and lots of rain made for some fun (and muddy) hikes as well as for lots of time to reflect inside by the fire. It is a beautiful place. I totally enjoyed my stay.
Great View
This house, though not perfect, is a great get away with an amazing view of the lake. No buildings obstructing your view and huge windows and a patio to enjoy it from. Though we visited in the winter, I'm sure the summer landscape is amazing. The house itself is nice, worked well functionally and was comfortable.
Beautiful!
We had such a wonderful time relaxing around the woodstove. This cabin has GREAT views, super clean, and awesome movie selection:))) we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
WOW!!! Absolutely a wonderful escape.
This lodge is a wonderful place to go to relax and unwind. I came from Fort Bragg, NC to do some snowboarding and hiking. This was the best possible place to stay at. It’s a beautiful lodge. Very comfortable and accommodating. Very appreciative to have the opportunity to stay here. I will definitely come back again next year and will highly recommend the Lazy Hound Lodge to all my friends and family. Thanks again.
Great Vacation Cabin & Location
The lay out of the house is great and our large families lived harmoniously in the space during our stay. The cabin is beautiful and location is prime! Looking our onto the lake and snow was beautiful and serene. I plan to book here again in the summer!<br />
