Everything was very nice there was no complaints
We really enjoyed our stay at the RunaWay, everything was nice and the house is beautiful. I will surely be back real soon. And also the process and set up was very easy. Thank you Remax, Port Bolivar
The view is amazing, the house was great.
House could use a little maint.
Very nice spaceous size house
This place was perfect to runaway from the hustle and bustle of life. I especially liked that was walking distance to the beach and has two bbq pits. The beds in the rooms were comfortable, but the couch bed wasnt. The staff was very responsive when we needed a chair and some bed framing fixed. Pros/cons if it being a rental - you don't have a lot of cleaning up to do but little stuff like refilling the toliet tissues, hand soap and paper towles lacked. We had to make a pit stop for these items. It sis have lots of towels and kitten cutlery. Other than that, I'd rent this home again!
It was just ok
For the most part we enjoyed our stay. We did have one issue in dealing with the trash. When we arrived there were at least six bags or more of trash overflowing the trash cans. We tried repeatedly to get it removed calling every single day of our 3 night stay. Needless to say it was still there when we checked out. Also the kitchen is not as well stocked with bowls and pans as I have seen in other houses. Because it is owned and run by a realtor it lacks some of the personal attention that is given in others where the owner of the house is running it. Probably would not stay here again
Sorry you feel this way but when you called in if you had said the trash was up by the stairs we could have had someone move it to the road, so when trash people came they did not see the trash because it was under the house by the stairs and they don't pick up there. If there was something you needed you could have called us and we could have got it for you but not letting us know until now does not help you.
After much confusion about whether or not the house would provide linens, we just decided to bring our own to be safe. As we arrived, the house keeping was just leaving and informed us the linens were provided. It didn't much matter though because upon arrival, we had to use our own sheets, as those provided were filthy and covered in dog hair. We ended up having to wash the sheet AND comforters for all six beds. My mom spent the majority of her 5 day vacation doing linen laundry.
Nice house and location
The house was nice. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom which would have been an inconvenience, but my instinct told me to pack some. There is a pool and a swing showing in the pictures both of which are no longer in existence. The jacuzzi bathtub is just that a bathtub the bubbles don't work. The master shower is the smallest shower I have ever seen. You can hardly move to wash your hair or body. The tub pan is cracked and the floor is soft under it. The window in the bunk bed room leaks when it rains.Needs some maintenance then I would recommend.
