Brand new- Newly Constructed classic New Orleans traditional home is 4 blocks from Saint Charles St Streetcar Line, which provides easy access to French Quarter several restaurant's featuring local cuisine.

It has high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout and a private courtyard. The house is also well equipped with everything that you'll need to have the most comfortable stay. There is Queen size bed in guest bedroom and a queen bed plus a full size futon in second guest bedroom, and each has a large closet for you to store your things while you stay. Master bedroom has a Queen size bed with own bathroom and walk in closet! The living room has open space concept with stainless appliances, quartz countertop, tv etc

Comfortable and spacious.

Read reviews from past guests who complained about the people of the neighborhood and would like to address these guests problem with these nice folks that always spoke and were very nice and welcoming to us. Fear is the problem which keeps people divided in this country.

Ignorance is a byproduct of this fear which keeps the cycle going.

That being said, when you address people and treat them as human beings with respect then many doors will be opened.

We had a great stay in this beautiful new home. I would put a shade on the upstairs bathroom window and on the back door for a bit more privacy. The two upstairs beds are nice, however, I would make the beds uniform complying with the downstairs bed in the master.

Although we did not meet our host, he was available to answer/address any issues we had and there was resolve.

I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful new home! The owner was immediately responsive to our calls about the AC needing to be programmed which is a huge bonus when you are hot. There are a lot of people that hang out right next to the house which did make us nervous at first but they were very friendly and quiet at night. The home is well done, my only recommendation would be to put a window covering on the upstairs bathroom. The only complaint we had was having to park 2 blocks down the street as the streets were lined with cars on both sides. I understand that this is beyond the owners control so my complaint is not directed at Jason, it's just something renters need to be aware of if they are booking on a holiday weekend.

Convenient location

This place was great. As others said, the neighborhood does not feel particularly safe but we had no problems. The house is on the market and a realtor stopped by unannounced with potential buyers, which was a surprise but she left when she realized we were not expecting her. Jason was responsive to early check-in and late check-out requests. Convenient location, I would stay again.

Great house and agood price!

This property is gorgeous! The house had everything we needed, including plenty of toliet paper. We were glad to have the security system as the neighborhood does have a varied crime rate, however we found the neighbors to be very friendly and not at all a bother. We walked twice to a local fresh market and to catch the street car several blocks away. on both trips everyone in the neighborhood was friendly. It was simple to catch an uber from this location. My only complaint was that the upstairs restroom window did not have a blind on it. This made all of us (all females) uncomfortable, but would be an easy fix. We did have an issue with the door knob upon arrival but Jason quickly sent someone out to fix it!

Home is beautiful, neighborhood not so much

The home is new and beautiful inside. No complaints about the home itself. All basic amenities were included. Looks like the home is on the market to be sold. As other reviews have mentioned, the neighborhood needs much improvements. It is in a rough part of the city. The neighbors were nice however we had an unpleasant interaction with someone while we walked to the nearby market. Just be careful if you “explore” the neighborhood. We were advised by the local Lyft/Uber drivers to not walk around the area alone at night. Speaking of ride sharing, we used it all weekend and for the most part, drivers picked us up at the home with no issues. However we had 3 incidents of Uber drivers not picking us up/cancelling on us. Could be a coincidence but it seemed like once they found out where they were going to pick us up they just stalled and never arrived. It was a bit inconvienent at times but we just ordered another after the cancellations. I believe the home owner mentioned they had video cameras installed on the properly? Didn’t see any. But we did find some dummy cameras in one of the drawers in the kitchen. Maybe that’s what he was talking about. Anyways we had a good time in NOLA and will be back but will not be looking to book this home again

Owner's Response: Thanks for the comments on my response and helpfulness, as you know I go out of my way to answer any guest concerns or questions at any hour of the day. However, to address any future client concerns, I do not think the 3 stars and some of your feedback is very fair. The previous tenant said the place was awesome and a great location- yes my neighbors do sit on THEIR porch during the day, but this is an urban environment- that is what you are paying for- easy access to the streetcar, the quarter, and downtown. My neighbors are harmless, they are just regular New Orleans people, and you must admit after 6pm, this neighborhood is pretty much silent, As for the air mattress in the third room, I specifically notified you of this in writing before you arrived, and there was no issue. It is a high quality Serta that sleeps as good if not better than a traditional mattress. As for not having 'Basics'- here is what comes with the rental- WiFi, TV, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, dish soap, hand soap, towels, linens, coffee pot and filters, microwave, ice maker, blender, iron and ironing board, spices, extra pillows, spare air mattresses and linens, tourism magazines and flyers, plenty of parking space, outdoor private deck, tons of premium furnishings and a brand new high quality house with exceptional finishes (thank you for noticing that) in a city neighborhood that is 4 blocks to St Charles, some of the best shopping, dining, and nightlife in the country. Security cameras. State of the art alarm/ security system. Way beyond basic. For the rent you pay here, it is incredible value for money. I hope this doesn't sound too defensive, but my reviews impact my future business, and they should be fair and balanced. I own several vacation rentals here and in other cities, and consistently get 5 star reviews. It is a lot of work to try to make everyone happy with their stay, and my team and I work very hard at it. I hope you consider changing your rating, and please come stay with us again at any of our properties. Thanks very much for your business! Jason
