About Syanna Swyers

I currently live Colorado but I grew up in rural Wisconsin. Before moving to Colorado I lived and worked all over the world in Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa in a whirlwind of adventure, truly immersed in other cultures. I came back to the US in 2013 and moved to Colorado so that I could be nearby family and enjoy the state for its beautiful, rugged landscape and endless amounts of outdoor adventures. I love to ski, hike, rock climb, camp and just be outside. My German Shepherd Marlo is a sweet little snuggle monster and he likes to join me on outdoor adventures.

Syanna Swyers purchased this studio in 2017

Why Syanna Swyers chose Frisco

I purchased this property in 2017 because I have a passion for all the Rocky Mountains have to offer! I love to ski, hike, camp, backpack to remote areas and just enjoy beautiful mountain views and fresh air. It makes me extremely happy to share my property with fellow travelers that want to enjoy all that Summit Country has to offer - it is truly nature's playground no matter what your interests and hobbies are!

I believe my property offers some of the best views in Frisco, especially for a private home! It is located on a hill with uninterrupted panoramic mountain views that you can enjoy from the deck. The house is on a large lot with pine and aspen trees and it feels secluded even though it is only 4 blocks from the quaint downtown area of charming Frisco. I love to have a walk-able lifestyle and that is certainly what I enjoy now - especially for my outdoor activities. I am 4 blocks from multiple trail heads to alpine lakes, mountain summits, and a bike path that stretches to Breckenridge and Copper Mountain.

I love this house because it was originally a small cabin built in the early 1960s that was expanded with a large addition in the 1970s - it is a vintage ski house with more entrances than you can count! It gives private access to 3 units that guests can enjoy during their mountain stays. I have newly remodeled it while keeping the vintage charm - you will love the mountain modern decor and awesome updates.

Great room. Very quiet. We truly enjoyed the privacy and yet still only a few blocks off of main. We cooked breakfast each morning. Every thing was super! Will stay again!

Perfect weekend Getaway!

I would highly recommend the Elk Mountain Hideaway to anyone! It is the perfect amount of space for two people and is extremely cozy with the electric fireplace. My boyfriend and I had a great time staying here and even made a few meals here as well. Close enough walk to Main Street.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our stay at the Elk Mountain Hideaway. The apartment was very cozy and had everything we needed. We met the owner and her dog Marlow at check in, and she was available to answer any question we had. We rented a car, but Frisco is centrally located and has buses to the resorts. It is an easy walk to downtown, where there are many good bars and restaurants. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect place for a couple!

  • 5 of 5

The Elk Mountain Hideaway was PERFECT for my boyfriend and I during our ski trip... SO much better than a hotel room! The amenities were great from the coffee&tea selection to having a small, but full kitchen.... We were able to make breakfast each day before heading downtown to catch the free bus to Copper Mountain. Frisco is a super cute town and so convenient that the house is within walking distance from so many great restaurants. Syanna was a great host! We hope to be back!
