When you are not eating Supper together why not put together a little card game of Hearts or Go Fish at the dining room table that seats six. This cabin is conveniently located to all the local attractions. Enjoy putt-putt, Ripley’s Aquarium, Hatfield and McCoy’s dinner show, The Comedy Barn, ice cream at Mad Dog’s Creamery, and dinner at MaMa’s Farmhouse. And also only 5 minutes from Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Country. There is so much to do out and about you will be hard pressed to decide whether to run around or just stroll by the creek.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cozy Bear. The cabin was very roomy and fit all of us comfortably. Great location and very easy to get to. We will definitely choose Cozy Bear for our next vacation to the mountains!

We take a girls weekend every March and this was the 1st time using VRBO and I have to say the best experience I have had. Definitely will stick with using it when planning any vacation.

This was by far the best cabin we've ever stayed in. The cabin was close to everything and so cozy. It was very clean and any questions we had were quickly answered by management. We highly recommend this wonderful cabin in the smokies!!!!!
Nice Cabin, TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM OWNER!! BEWARE
Our family rented this cabin with the understanding that there was a working washer and dryer as the owner listed both appliances in the amenities. These appliances were crucial in our decision to rent this cabin as we were traveling with a 6 month old. Upon our arrival, the dryer did not work. When I contacted the owner, she was courteous to send a maintenance person within the hour. However, our dinner was interrupted by his visit--he turned breakers off (we did not know this at the time) and said he would order the part that night and would replace it on Monday. Before he left, he interrupted our evening to chit chat and complain about the world we live in for a good 20 minutes. He was too busy talking about his 1400 acre farm and cows to do his job as a maintenance man.
After he left, we realized the power to half the cabin was turned off, the refrigerator that we had just stocked with groceries didn't work, and the stove didn't work--again, we have a 6 month old and we needed a way to keep milk cold and heat bottles through the night. When I called the owner again, she stated that "Things happen." Sure, we can let clothes dry on the banister for a day or two, but to just say "Things happen" when there is no power to the cabin was a bit ridiculous. I stated that she have someone turn the power back on that night or refund our money so we could go to a hotel. My husband eventually found that the disruptive repairman actually turned breakers off. We fixed our own problem for them.
After this, the owner would not answer calls or text messages. She would not update on the repair of the dryer. Our vacation was interrupted AGAIN while we were napping--we had just gotten our baby to sleep when someone rudely beat on the door and loudly entered the cabin saying he needed to get a part number for the dryer--guess Mr. Chit Chat didn't order the part like he said he would Saturday. Still no responses from owner when we tried to contact. We did ask the repair man to communicate that we needed clean towels and wash cloths since the owner refused to communicate with us at this point.
It didn't bother the owner to take our payment in full at the time of booking, but it was too much to ask for them to maintain their property. While the cabin is a nice place to stay, the services from the owner in our experience was terrible and our stay was nothing but a hassle.
We are very sorry to hear your experience wasn't good. We strive to provide a wonderful experience for all our travelers and I believe our others reviews and track record will confirm that. As you stated in your review we "sent a maintenance person within the hour". That alone says we took your complaint very seriously. We wish we could guarantee that nothing would ever break but that would be impossible. I listened to the call recordings and you were what I would define as verbally abusive to the girl trying to solve the issue. She informed you that she would have someone there within the hour and you proceeded to scream at the top of your lungs that she needed to have someone there fixing it right then. The maintenance guy dealt with the same abuse and some how kept his composure and was nothing but kind to you despite your behavior. The breaker issue was resolved within 5 minutes of your call. The girl said "things happen" in a calm and kind way because you were screaming at the top of your lungs over something she couldn't have had any control over. The maintenance guy unfortunately forgot to turn the breaker back on why he worked on the dryer and I do honestly apologize about those 5 minutes of inconvenience. While the dryer was being repaired we also informed you that we had a dryer in the cabin next to yours that you could use but you unfortunately declined. We fixed this issue in a timely manner and we were very kind to you. I hope that future guest read your review and can see that your behavior even through this review with comments like "mr chit chat" was unacceptable. The dryer was repaired within a few hours but I do understand this was an inconvenience. We wanted to do something above and beyond to improve your experience but you screamed, yelled, and hung up on us every time we tried to speak to you. Despite any of this we truly wish you the best of luck and hope you have a wonderful Smoky Mountain experience in the future.
