Nice cozy home located in the Saddlebrook Tennis and Golf Community Resort. House has a private screened pool that is perfect for relaxing. 2300 sqf with 3 large bedrooms, living room and a huge kitchen.
Dishwasher, washer and dryer, basic cable and internet (WiFi) included. 55" TV in Living room, 49" TV in Master bedroom, and 40" TV in one bedroom. Blue ray/DVD player with access to Netflix and Amazon in living room.
King size bed in master bedroom and queen size bed in each of other rooms.
Saddlebrook Resort facilities located 1/4 mile from the house.
Located 30 minutes from downtown Tampa, 25 from Busch Gardens, 5 minutes from I-75.

The hotel pool can only be used if a SPA package is purchased (our home is not affiliated with the Resort).

Being in a private home, in a private building/community, and not registered at a condo-hotel, all guests understand that this is a private property exclusively for the owners and personally invited guest of owners only. In this case guests are considered an INVITED GUEST OF OWNER. This private property is located in an upscale residential neighborhood that is mainly for permanent residents. Due to the fact that this destination also has been known to become a party spot for celebrities and additionally, just like big cities like New York, LA, Miami, Tampa, etc. this destination does not allow private home to be vacation home rentals or short term home-or-condo rentals, unless guest are invited guests of the owner, registered at a hotel, or on a 6 months 1 day or longer lease. So in this case any guests are SPECIALLY INVITED GUEST OF OWNER on a "trial stay based on 6 months 1 day lease" with automatic cancellation after visitation mentioned "trial dates" are over unless extended/renewed by guest and owner/management. This home should be considered a sanctuary and not for parties. Guests are a GUEST OF OWNER, NOT a tenant or renter, and fee charged is considered an invitation consulting fee. If asked and guest say guest are short term tenant or renter, guest will be asked to vacate the property and any monies paid will be forfeited. There are strict residential rules & noise restrictions that all owners and guests must adhere to not disturb any neighbors and if asked by anyone, guests are simply a GUEST OF OWNER. As long as there are no parties, no loud noise, normal guest appearance, normal dressed, etc. and being INVITED GUEST OF OWNER, this will not offend anyone and instead satisfy everyone.
All restaurants, SPA and Golf courses are open to public at general public rates.
As mentioned before, please understand that all guest CANNOT use the pool at the Resort.

An overall great stay!
Let me start off by saying I was a little nervous about my stay in this home because of the prior negative reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience.
The owner was very helpful and I never had any issues communicating with him, he was very nice and accommodating. He messaged me all the housing instructions prior to my stay and answered any questions I had before my arrival.
The house was in very good condition when we arrived, it was clean and tidy. The master bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and there was plenty of space in the closet to hang clothes up. The other two bedrooms were great as well.
All the linens were clean and fresh and there were plenty of towels in all the bathrooms for use.
The kitchen was large and beautiful, the only complaint I have for the entire stay (about 8 days) is that the silverware and dishes were put away looking dirty (which could have been from the previous guests) but could also use updating. We simply threw it all in the dishwasher and ran it, not a big deal. There are limited pots and pans to cook in but it was sufficient for our needs. The refrigerator was spotless with the exception of a few unopened water bottles, which was no problem.
The screened in pool area was very nice, even though we were not able to go in it as it was too chilly during our stay.
Overall I would not let the other reviews discourage from considering this rental. I would recommend this house to someone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Very dissatisfied with my accomodations
I wish I could give this home a ZERO.
I recently returned from renting the unit at the Saddlebrook Resort area. I was very disappointed upon arrival to find that the although there was 3 bedrooms only one had a TV, and that was a piece of crap.
The master bedroom dresser was full of the owners clothes and the closet was so jammed I couldn't hang anything up, so I had no where to put my clothes other then to live out of my suitcase. The master bathroom drawers were full of the owners items as well, oh well, guess I'm living out of my dopp kit, probably safer anyway.
The amenities section of the property stated there was a "hot tub" in the Lanai, there is not. When I questioned him about this he stated he was confused about the difference between a jetted tub in the master bathroom and a hot tub. WHAT, everyone knows a jetted tub is not a hot tub. He did quickly take it down from the site.
I had to search the kitchen, dish drainer and dish washer as well as many cabinets to bring together all the plates, cups, coffee mugs, and glasses. Upon our arrival the cabinets with the glasses, cups, bowls and plates had this number of items. 3 coffee cups, 3 plates, 1 bowl, and 2 glasses. How can you provide these number of items for a house you advertise as sleeping 6.
The worst part however was condition of the refrigerator. It was also jammed with his food items, with little room for our items. As a result one of my people grabbed his parm cheese container thinking it was ours, THE RESULT-THE TWO PEOPLE WHO USED THIS CHEESE HAD FOOD POISONING FOR 3 DAYS, THE CHEESE'S EXPIRATION DATE WAS APRIL OF 2015. Upon inspection of the rest of his food items, most was over a year past the expiration date. Can you imagine if a child had been exposed to any of these items. His actions or oversight caused a very serious health risk to anyone who was in that home.
The owner is now claiming we broke the dog ear off a cookie jar in the cabinet, I found it already broken while I was looking for the plates, bowls, etc. He is also claiming we allowed a plastic bag to get into the pool filter however it was so cold out we never went out there. If there truly was a plastic bag that got into the filter it was not our fault. I personally witnessed the pump working almost everyday when I looked out there.
AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS.
This "bully" traveler has been reported to VRBO, as he was trying to scam me and get a free stay in exchange for a good review. I assure this property is in excellent condition and description is fully accurate on this website.
Loved it/Not so much
This is not our first stay in a rental house, so we have a pretty good idea what to expect. Let me start off with the house is quite nice and in a great location if you are a tennis player at Saddle Brook. Our feeling was that this was the first time this owner had rented the house and just didnt know what all it takes to rent the house. Here are are feelings: House needs some cleaning/prep before renting the house. It almost seemed like the owner moved out before our arrival; All but one closet had things thrown in and door shut, such as too keep people out (leave a note "Do not use"); Need closet/drawer space to allow people to unpack; Was given code to unlock front door, but instructions how to lock the door. Had to search the internet for instructions; dishwasher were left with dirty dishes in it; Fridge was not decluttered to make room for us; many of the blankets had a dirty smell, and we ended up washing nearly all the blankets;
Overall, nice place, but the house not ready to be rented for a week. Besides the things above, maybe a "What know about the house document" be created for those incoming, with things such as how to use the keypad lock, what to do with trash and recyclables, does trash can need to go to the road on a certain date, can the pool cleaner be unplugged (but was too cold to swim this time). Use the cleaning fee from our rental to hire someone to come in clean master shower, kitchen, fridge, etc.

First of all let me assure everybody that this house has been rented for months through other mediums and never had the problems described on this post.
Sheets and towels are cleaned every time a guest departs. Cleanliness is number one on our list.
Keypad is as simple to open as to lock (same procedure, just input code and turn knob).
A king size bed has been added to master bedroom, making the queen size bed available for another room.
Our cleaning crew collected 12 bags of trash when this customer left trash all over the living areas.
I must mention this customer was upset because I requested to be contacted through VRBO and not personal email regarding future reservations as he was being sneaky trying to get an extra day for free, just a week before arrival. When caught on his game he apologized.
