Wonderful place! So clean and easy in every regard!
We all loved our stay at your place! Thanks so much! We will be back again!
Perfect condo for four people. We enjoyed the location on the Comal. We would book again.
Love staying at these condos right on the Comal.
Sabrina was a lovely host, easy to communicate with and condo was inviting.
We loved the place. It was the perfect location. We walked everywhere from tubing to schlitterbahn and even dinner one night. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable. I would recommend the place and definitely would stay there again.
Excellent location! River access, pool, walking distance to water park. Clean and comfy!
Loved our rental! The property manager was a gem! So helpful and accessible for questions. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend.
Love. Love. Love
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was perfect for us and another couple for a weekend getaway. It sits right on the river and is conveniently located close to restaurants, bars and shops. The condo itself was clean, well stocked with towels, sheets and kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable. Sabrina was the perfect host, with super fast replies to messages and clear and simple check in and out instructions. We had our own covered parking spot, and although it is tight for large trucks and vehicles it is located right next to the elevator which takes you straight to the front door of the condo. We could not have been happier with the place and it’s value. We will return!
This wonderful condo is perfect for 2 couples or a family to enjoy the Comal River, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, downtown New Braunfels, Gruene, and the surrounding area.
Guests have private access to the Comal River. The last public tubing exit is about a half of a block away which makes walking home easy. The tubing shuttles park across the street so you have your pick of outfitters if you want to rent tubes. Tubing is literally in your back yard. You can walk across the street and put in at the Garden Street Bridge for a short float home if you bring your own tube.
Schlitterbahn is across the street with an entrance about a block away. You can come and go to the waterpark to rest, eat, and regroup without having to take or park your car.
Downtown is a short walk for exploring uniqiue shops, taverns, museums of the early German settlers, and restaurants. Stop by Nagelin's (the oldest bakery in Texas) or Henne's (the oldest hardware store in Texas).
Landa Park is a must for the entire family to visit. Enjoy the paddleboat lake, miniature train ride around the park, the spring fed wading pool, the giant 'Founder's Oak' dating back to the 1700's, picnic pavilions, Panther Canyon hiking trail, and free summer concerts at the dance slab.
Gruene is a historic district on the national registry and a former ghost town. It is home to Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas. Wander in to listen to live music nightly and see where legends like Willie Nelson, George Strait, Hal Ketchum, and Lyle Lovett got their start. Next door, have a delicious meal overlooking the Guadalupe River at the Gristmill.
If you feel adventurous, take the scenic ride up River Road to Canyon Lake. Spend the day shopping at the outlet malls in San Marcos. Explore Natural Bridge Caverns. Visit the San Antonio Missions and Riverwalk. Find out why Austin is the live music capitol of the world by going to 6th street and the surrounding district.
When you stay at The River Inn, you are in the perfect place to experience it all!!
