About the property

Beautiful New 2 Bdrm Mountain Cabin in Chalet Village North.

ADDITIONALLY THE LOFT HAS 2 TWIN BEDS. DON'T HESITATE TO ASK US QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR CABIN OR THE AREA; WE UNDERSTAND YOU MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA. (also see our other brand new cabin "Whispering Winds- ID# 1190484)

We are now booking reservations for this brand new cabin completed 15 Jan 2018. Aspen Holler is our personal family owned vacation home which we’ve decided to share on the rental market for all to enjoy.

Based on our own rental experiences, we’ve included all the best things we liked in other cabins and designed Aspen Holler to be the kind of cabin getaway most people envision when thinking of the Smokey Mountains. This cabin is ideal for a family of 3-6 or 1-2 couples and perfect for Honeymooners. Aspen Holler is located in the most sought after area for Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge known as: Chalet Village North on Ski Mountain which is a 10 minute drive down the mountain to center of Gatlinburg or 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. With almost a full acre of land you’ll enjoy the privacy without feeling isolated from civilization. The cabin is up on the mountain and nestled in gradual wooded slopes, which is very important if you have little ones or just want to go on a nature walk (cliff side cabins can't offer this). The cabin is located at the end of Aspen Lane with an easy access paved driveway with ample parking. Roads, Driveway and Parking are critical considerations when selecting your mountain rental (read that line again). Aspen Holler is a new 2 story, ALL WOOD, CABIN with 2 bedrooms + a Loft, a full bathroom on each floor (up stairs bathroom has a standing shower with no tub), fully equipped kitchen and dining area, living room with vaulted ceiling and a covered deck you can enjoy year round; you’ll love having your morning coffee or end of the day glass of wine out on the deck. The Deck also has a Covered Foosball table for some family fun. All new appliances black/stainless, central AC/Heat, wood burning fire place (hard to find), washer/dryer and dishwasher. The hot tub will be located 5 ft away in a standalone covered gazebo in a private setting (built this way by design and you’ll appreciate not having the motor reverberate throughout the cabin at night). The ample master bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor and the upstairs bedroom also has a queen bed to accommodate a second couple comfortably. The loft has two twin beds ideal for kids. There are 3 flat screen televisions in the bedrooms and living room. Of course you’ll be able to stay connected via a complimentary 60 mbps WiFi signal (but hopefully you won’t be working too much while on vacation :). There is also an out door "Pilot Rock" park style charcoal grill if you desire to grill out side. There are numerous restaurants in the area and if you don’t feel like driving, Uber drivers are readily available. If you prefer to utilize the full kitchen you can pickup groceries in town or you can call the near by Chalet Village Market which will deliver pizza, groceries and fire wood right to the door. Also available to our guests, is access to the Chalet Village communal swimming pool.

We believe Aspen Holler will be the kind of place you’ll want to return to year after year and think of as your own “home away.” Please feel free to ask us anything, we're happy to help you plan as best we can. You can also send us email in Spanish or French.

Note: The Minimum rental age of 25 years old is strictly enforced. The guest making the reservation must be present during the complete stay.

Note: 100% of the cleaning fee goes to a local husband and wife team that do a great job.

Note: The $58 property insurance is an owner provided fee. Do Not select the additional $59 policy from VRBO unless you wish to purchase an additional policy (not required). Both of those policies are non refundable. You can also request to pay a $500 refundable security deposit if you prefer, just let us know ahead of booking. Our goal is to provide you with options while protecting our interests.

Most lovely cabin ever! Such hospitality! Superb owners!

  • 5 of 5

We three quilters loved, loved, loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. We cannot say enough positives about the Aspen Holler cabin and its owners.

We love the open floor plan so we three women could interact freely within the spaciousness.......... Openess to the living room as well as the dining room and the kitchen for meals and snacking and easy interaction among us.

Whispering Winds cabin is near the Aspen Holler cabin and is owned by the same gracious couple. We toured Whispering Winds when we were here, just so we can decide which one we liked better and could rent for our next visit. We like both cabins equally well, but if you like a little more independence / separation room to room among the occupants, kids and parents/ grandparents, you may prefer Whispering Winds, because the well appointed dining room and kitchen have their own spaces separate from the living room and the activity there.

Communication was A + outstanding between us and the owners from the very first note when we made a request stay here. The owners went above and beyond any ordinary measures to assure our comfort and enjoyment. There was nothing we lacked. There is a beautiful deck which is long and spacious, rocking chairs to relax in or to read a book, a hot tub, a foosball game table, books, a wood burning fireplace, controls for heating or air conditioning comfort room to room..... Have no doubt that you have made the correct decision to stay at Aspen Holler!

The town of Gatlinburg is only about 4 miles from this quiet cabin spot on a hill nestled among the trees. If you travel a little further down the green highway, you will come to Pigeon Forge ( we ate at The Pottery House and Cafe which was delicious) and then travel a few miles more into Sevierville, Tennessee if you love to shop like we three women.

Iva’s Machine Quilting and Sewing Center has about 8,000 to 9,000 bolts of up to date fabrics and The Pattern Hutch has a huge selection of patterns, felt , floss, and stuff. Proprietors of both these two shops were so friendly and welcoming. Of course, many chain stores like Hobby Lobby and Joann’s as well as TJ Maxx and other chain stores are located there as well. Something like 30 minutes from the Aspen Holler cabin.

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay a whole week or more at Aspen Holler so that we could visit the Great Smoky National Park as well as work on our sewing projects.

Miguel and Alyson are the best! Thank you!!!

Best getaway experience in Gatlinburg Area!!!

  • 5 of 5

If you are debating whether to book or not, I highly suggest you to just do it!!!! You will not be disappointed one bit. We drove nearly 10 hours from Chicago and we are so glad we did. This is a gorgeous New cabin with great amenities amongst them the fireplace, Hot tub, 2 bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and communal pool. Everything in the cabin was amazing and the whole trip was very smooth and relaxing. Miguel and Alyson, the property owners will go beyond their way in order to make you feel right at home. Miguel and his wife also filled us in with the must do's while in town and we definitely took advantage to visit these places during the day and return back to the cabin at night to unwind. One night we decided to go Downtown for a few drinks but unfortunately there wasn't any Lyft or Uber services available but we managed to book an independent taxi company with a quick search on google. You can rest assure we will definitely be back as there is so much to do and three days was not enough for everything we had plan to do.

Beautiful cabin on the hillside

  • 5 of 5

New cabin that was quietly situated on the hillside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Watched snow on the first day of our visit and enjoyed a sunny Spring day driving in the Great Smoky National Park on the second day. Took advantage of the fireplace and hot tub on the cold evenings. Great place to get away from it all.

Family Stay

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four with two teenage boys, and this cabin was just what we wanted! While it was centrally located for excursions into town and the mountains, it was also the perfect place for us to relax and spend some quality family time. Everything is new and in great condition, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was private. Whether you are looking for a place to get away or a place to rest your head after a busy day, you will not regret staying here!

Awesome home

  • 5 of 5

My family loved staying in this great cottage. It had more than enough room for our family and the full kitchen allowed us to make meals as often as we wanted to. The home is located close to the park with hiking trails and also close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with hundreds of things to do. We would definitely recommend this home!!!

Map

Car: recommended

1. Knoxville (TYS) Primary about an 1:15 minutes. Ashville (AVL) secondary about 1:50 minutes. Both airports are small and very easy to navigate.

2. Usual list of car rental companies. Remember these cabins are in the mountains so ensure you get something with a good power to weight ratio. We have rented mid size to full cars and suv's and all have been fine. Keep in mind that if your coming in the winter months it may snow and a 4WD or All-WD vehicle would be a good idea. In our opinion a small to mid-size suv with All-WD is the ideal vehicle any time. Renting a car at one airport and returning it to a different airport is more expensive, so try to fly to and from the same airport you are renting from.

3. Recommended: Guests should stop at Food City in Gatlinburg (1219 East Pkwy) or Pigeon Forge (3625 Parkway) and pick up some supplies prior to driving up the hill. Don't forget. Firewood, Charcoal and "matches". The tap water is potable but if you prefer bottled water don't forget to buy a few gallons. There is also a Krogers and Publix but Food City is the closest and there is one on the way from TYS or AVL.

4. Uber is available and it costs about $10 each way. Keep in mind that parking is $7-$10 dollars any way and if you are going to have a couple of drinks at dinner this is a great option.
