Became our Roman home for 3 months

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in the River Terrace apartment for 3 months. It was perfect for us two - clean, well-maintained, and Paolo was very responsive when we had a minor, minor issue. The building is new (ca. 2014) and very efficient in terms of heat and hot water; can't address A/C as we were there in the winter. As other reviewers note, the Sunday market is wonderful (just out the front gate of the condo) and the convenience of the location is terrific for access to other parts of Rome. For a longer stay such as ours, you can easily walk to your choice of laundry services (we got hooked on the luxury of professionally washed and ironed sheets - all else we used the washing machine in the apartment) banks, pharmacies, pizzerias, take-out places food, grocery, bars, etc. Vegetable market a short walk across the river or short trip toward town on the tram. Will definitely return to this or any other property Paolo owns.

Wonderfully modern and convenient Trastevere space

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 joyful nights here with a view of the Tiber, a spacious terrace for breakfast each morning, and a grocery at our doorstep. It's a great location slightly out of the city center and away from the bustling tourists (all of which are readily accessible from the #8 tram that deposits you directly into Piazza Venezia in moments). I highly recommend this great spot.

Perfect for your Rome adventure

  • 5 of 5

Very nice, quiet, modern condo in a gated building with easy access to Rome's many sights via the number 8 tram one street away. The Sunday market on the street below is awesome. Grocery store next door. Spent four nights and loved it.

Bel appartement dans résidence très récente, au calme et avec une propreté irréprochable. A 5mn du tramway reliant le centre historique, un excellent restaurant italien au pied de l'immeuble. A conseiller pour un couple ou une famille de deux enfants.

The apartment is located in between the neighborhoods of Trastevere and testaaccio in covereth port portse. The Roman district of Trastevere is one of the most vivid and characteristic of the city. Considered the most authentic, as it has maintained the pace and lifestyle of the past. The inhabitants of Trastevere, called Trastevere, from the time of ancient Rome, formed a population of its own thanks to the partial isolation, because the neighborhood is located beyond the Tiber, and multicultural environment: people of note tenacity, pride and genuineness. Cobbled streets, taverns always open, ivy-clad buildings, bars and clubs with patio, narrow streets to get lost, studies of tattoo artists, small breweries, the view of the river: the charming Trastevere never sleeps. By day you sit outdoors to enjoy a glass of good wine. In the evening, when his countless clubs, bars and squares are full of street artists, students and creative, the neighborhood becomes the center of Roman nightlife. The apartments are located in the heart Portaportese: Portobello Road Roman. No Sunday morning in Trastevere would be complete without a trip to the market Portaportese. Whether you are there in search of treasures, or to sell a memory of your childhood, Portaportese rapt for hours. Antiques, old photos and vintage clothes. Memories of past times: 'who knows what these objects will have meaning for their old owners'. So you expect a stay of pure magic.
