This ideal 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment is located on Bld Latour Maubourg in a magnificent building.
On the 4th European floor with elevator, this 750 sq ft apartment overlooks Paris monuments and the view of the Invalides is breathtaking. It is a wide angle view, no need to twist ant turn. Simply seat and relax in the apartment and you will see it from many windows.
The apartment is to be classified in the 5 star ranking, completely renovated in 2007. Offering marble and wood floors, marble bathrooms with a bath/shower in one and Deluxe shower in the other. Within walking distance: Rue Cler market, Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Champs Elysees...
Metro stop and taxi stand both right across the building.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment.
Pro's - Awesome location (20 minutes to Eiffel Tower - 10 minutes to the river - right on a metro stop and taxi stand). Cafe's right outside. Washer and dryer was helpful. Elevator was helpful (very small, but good for brining heavy bags up to the 4th floor (5th US)). Owner responded quickly and was helpful. Living room is comfortable and it has good TV and wifi.
Con's - One shower was so small that the three of us could not use it. Kitchen is very small but has all essential appliances (we could not prepare much of a meal there). Prepare to go to the store as soon as you get here (about a 10 minute walk). No dishwasher soap, laundry soap, only one roll of toilet paper, etc. Prepare to buy or bring any consumables that you plan to use. Owner needed final payment in cash, which took us several days of ATM withdrawals in advance of our stay to accumulate for our 4 night stay.
Overall, I would stay again.
Really great location. Metro and taxi directly across the street.
We have really enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was a wonderful location, beautiful views, and even better than pictured
We stayed here with with our 2 adult children for a week. Pros:Location was awesome! Right across the street from the metro and you could see Napoleon's tomb dome all lit up at night right from your window. 10 min. walk(and I walk slow) to Eiffel Tower. Tons of cafes and pubs super close. You can even walk to Champs Elysees(about 30 min.)! 2 bedrooms is very nice to have. Cozy TV room. We were met by Renata and she gave us all the information we needed to get us started like where to buy groceries, etc. We had other questions and she answered those as well. The only con:the smaller shower only bathroom is just that "small." I am 5' 1" and I fit in the shower but the 2 men in my family did not but there is another bathroom which is big and very nice. The kitchen is great for preparing meals. The washer and dryer are nice because we only had one small suitcase each and we were gone a total of 20 days so we had to do laundry and that was very nice so we didn't have to bring a lot. I would definitely recommend this place. I was impressed that Pascal answered our questions in a timely manner and there were no issues with meeting the person who let us into the apt. Couches are comfortable and convert to a bed if needed. One of my kids pulled one out to watch TV one time and I laid on it and it was THE most comfortable pull out couch I have ever laid on! I wasn't on it very long but it was comfy! The apt. is exactly as described! Enjoyed our time in Paris very much! Thanks.
Probably should have written earlier, but noticed, as I was about to recommend the property to a friend, that other reviews seemed to have been about summer stays. The apartment was always comfortably heated. Nice views from the windows, including the small market stall across the street below. Traffic sounds were never a bother for sleeping or otherwise; indeed, a welcome reminder that we were in the heart of a populous city. One who wanted total quiet should probably have chosen a rural villa. To me, elevators that are not Hilton-sized, provide one of the charms of travel. If Parisians find them adequate, should I feel imposed upon? And one's heart has to go out to a visitor to Paris who obsesses over trim that is not completely painted. Any place that I would enjoy staying in has amusing characteristics that differ from rooms in chain hotels. Others, it appears, take pleasure in finding fault with minutiae. The property met my main criteria: comfort, convenience, and a Parisian aura. I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends who want a little flavor of Paris in their Parisian pied a terre, rather than rooms that might as well be in Kansas.
My fiance and I enjoyed the amenities in this spacious apartment in the seventh arondissment. We really took advantage of the free wifi and telephone to America as we had to keep in constant contact with home. The view of the Invalide with its golden dome (our favorite time for it was dusk) was extremely romantic.
As far as our questions and needs that came up Pascal the manager responded quickly and efficiently.
For our honeymoon this coming Fall we have already booked our stay at this well located (metro and hard-to-find taxi stand just out the door) and pretty apartment.
METRO Stop and Taxi stand across the building
