About John E Le Roy
About the Owner: The cottage is owned by BJ 13 Investments, LLC – John Le Roy We completely renovated our unique lakeside 1950’s cottage in 2012 to share with other families and to enjoy the ”Sea The View” cottage lifestyle. As grandparents (with 13 grandchildren), we have many memories of the cottage with our family whether roasting marshmallows and singing by the firepit, grilling out, or just enjoying all that Lake Sidney Lanier has to offer with water activities or just relaxing enjoying the water views and Sunrise or Sunset. We hope you enjoy your time on beautiful Lake Sidney Lanier, a fantastic Georgia gem. We welcome you!
Why John E Le Roy chose Cumming
Our family has enjoyed all that Lake Sidney Lanier has to offer since 1956. Lake Lanier offers something for everyone. We fell in love with Lake Lanier not only because it is the largest lake in Georgia, but it has nearly 700 miles of shoreline spread over 38,000 acres. The water in Lake Lanier comes from Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The rain falls on the mountains, runs over beautiful waterfalls, and then makes its way down to Lake Lanier via the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers.
What makes this Cottage unique
"Sea The View" cottage is located on a quiet peninsula on the south end of Lake Sidney Lanier. The level private road to the cottage driveway with lakefront on both sides is rare and is a great place for your morning walk to enjoy the views. The Six Mile Creek area is centrally located on the lake as well as convenient to shopping and the North Georgia Mountains.

Our 4 night stay was enjoyable, the home and accommodations were just as described. Everything was clean, and well appointed. Area was quiet, and lake was beautiful. We will definitely be returning.
Great place to relax!
This was a great place to relax and enjoy family. The view was awesome. We loved the dock and the swing. The cottage had everything we needed. While the weather wasn’t the best, we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
Thank you Jackie,
We really enjoyed having you and your moms visit Lake Lanier and our cottage. We hope to see you again soon!
The owners are great people. I felt so at home in their cute cottage. Even though it rained our entire stay, we still had fun. There were board/table games in the family room and I discovered a game called Master Mind! Got a little hooked... I’d definitely stay there again.
Thanks Candy and family
You were the best guests!! We are so happy you made memories in spite of the weather!! We love connecting families at our cottage. That’s what it’s all about.look forward to seeing you again soon!!
