Ideal for couples in one place for resting and hiking
Waking up between cotton sheets in a large bedroom with a lovely balcony facing the bed, desk and a lovely terrace with wonderful mountain views ... Welcome to Casa Bellavista!
This old Canarian house was recently renovated and is perfectly prepared for a couple offering a warm and romantic atmosphere.
It has a cheerful and well equipped kitchen, to make our vacations easier, giving access to a large room divided into two rooms: on the one hand, the dining room, and, on the other, the living room with a good plasma TV and international channels of Astra satellite and music equipment. One of the sofas is a sofa-bed.
The house is ideal for active people who like the mountains, walk and explore the island and then return at dusk, light the barbecue and have a good wine while they wait relaxed in the jacuzzi for the moon to come out.
The house has an excellent WiFi signal both inside and outside.

the property is very nice but very dark
we were very unfortunate with the weather which was mostly cold and wet and the problem was made worse by lack of natural light to property and the fact that a heater did not work and took a few days to replace
to be fair the property is very clean, as described and the hot tub lovely the scenery is great and good for walking but it is quite high altitude and during poor weather the temperature is quite low around 10 c many times for us and the wind makes that worse
this has nothing to do with the property which as I said is as described but we felt that it would be a super summer retreat not so good in February go by all means but take plenty of warm clothing
Exactly as the pictures, great stay
As soon as we walked into the house it was exactly as what was presented in the pictures and as clean as in the pictures, minus the bottle of wine by the hot tub! It is a warm and cozy feel to the entire place and community surrounding the area. The house had everything we needed with great Wi-Fi and from what I could tell TV. We got full use of the hot tub and if you like a bit more seclusion this is the place for you as it is absolutely quiet and still at night with a great view of the valley and sky and if you are lucky will get have a great view of a full moon and fire works show (we were there over New Years eve). The closest town had everything we needed and is of reasonable driving distance. The local restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed on a few occasions is a 20 minute walk. Of note, if you are not familiar with a standard transmission make sure your rental is automatic transmission. Be ready for some tight driving and parking near the residence but I found the local residents extremely polite and safe on the roads. Enjoy your stay here and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a clean, safe, spacious and quiet place to stay.
A true Gran Canarian experience, just beautiful.
Fabulous house with all the facilities you need. Peaceful with amazing changing views, always something new to discover. Locals very friendly, loved the restaurant down the hill. The island is full of character a visit to the market in San Mateo is a must and lunch in Tejeda too. Puerto de Mogán is a characterful village full of older tourists but very picturesque. Definitely recommend Casa Bellavista for those not wanting the tourist hotspots. The bbq was great and the jacuzzi was a welcome relaxation after a day sightseeing. Loved it loved it loved it !!
The villa was perfect for us, it was well equipped and the hot tub is a great bonus. The location is remote up a lot of bendy roads and does take a while to get places.
A real rural retreat
A well presented house in a very quiet area. 3 terraces and the hot tub made enjoying outdoors living easy. Lovely views and close to good walking paths. Although it is secluded there is a restaurant within walking distance at the bottom of the road and another at the top of the valley. There is a decent sized town with a weekly market a few minutes drive away. The house has everything we would ever need, very comfortable and relaxed. There were no English channels on TV but this was probably a good thing as it gave us more time to read books and chat.
Dear Anne, Thank you very much for such a nice review. It is a delight for us to have guests like you. Best wishes from all of us, Beatriz and Casa Bellavista team.
Nettes, abgelegenes Ferienhäuschen...
Leider sehr aufwände und nervige Abwicklung (es werden unnötige Auskünfte verlangt wie "Warum und mir wem wollen sie das Haus mieten?; Unterlagen (Voucher) erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage erhalten); Vor-Ort Übergabe durch nur spanisch sprechende aber sehr freundliche Frau; Sehr gut ausgestattetes und sauberes Ferienhaus in den Bergen (in 1000m Höhe) - es fehlt praktisch an keinerlei Einrichtung/Feature; Auffällig ist jedoch, dass es aufgrund der wenigen Fenster doch sehr dunkel ist. Der Whirlpool lädt zum entspannen ein - allerdings ist dieser vom Haus darüber einsehbar (wir wurden tatsächlich beobachtet!);
Achtung: außerhalb Sommerzeit kann es innen schnell kalt werden (Elektroheizung viel zu klein; Kaminofen nicht benutzbar, da vollkommen zugesetzt und undicht! => bitte reparieren!);
The house is located at the end of the district of La Yedra and from it draws subtle forms a border between a landscape of dispersed population down to the sea and a natural landscape uninhabited toward the mountain, all with a sinuous game of running water free with nature, houses and crops in the Barranco de La Mina, first tranche of Barranco Guiniguada that makes its way into eastbound to the city of Las Palmas. The entrance to the neighborhood is through Utiaca, a small town that served as a rest for the people who made the San Mateo-Teror route and location for services is still evident in his church and square to the side of the road, road today, and the main grocery store in the area just in front which houses the Neighborhood Association as a meeting place and cafes.
