About Vacasa, FL - Florida Keys Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Sharing a bathroom

The facility was quaint and charming but did not like having to share a bathroom

Room was small. There was no private bathroom.

I would have expected a private bathroom. Room was small but cute. Breakfast was a plus.

Nice swimming pool

  • 5 of 5

I loved the swimming pool in front of the hallway. I can do meditation in the water haha. The breakfast is nice. Staffing agency is welcoming. They helped us keep the luggage until we leave Key West

Cozy little get a way

  • 5 of 5

I loved this property for many different reasons. It’s secluded, yet so close to everything. Everyone we met was super nice. The shuttle driver Mike was great! Was very accommodating to our needs. I wasn’t sure how sharing a bathroom would go but it wasn’t bad at all! Only saw our “roommates” once right as we were leaving. We didn’t have to rent a car or anything, everything was in walking distances. For food I suggest Pepe’s steak house. It’s literally 5 Mins around the corner from your room and sooooo good!. Will definitely stay again!

We only stayed the first night. About 530am on the first night we packed up and had to leave. We was eaten alive by fleas. There was mold on the lower part of walls, health nightmare. We would have dealt with the mold one more night, however, we could not take all the bites over our entire body. Not only lost out on the rental fees, bust most of all, the memories we lost because of no place to stay. Not to mention, I also purchased $75.00 worth of parking spots for two nights. Please, if you are looking, I'm not exaggerating, keep on looking for another spot to stay on your vacation.

Owner's Response: As soon as this was reported, our staff went to check the unit. No mildew or fleas were found. We take these things very seriously. It is possible the guests were bitten by mosquitoes or no-see-ums while outside. We are very sorry to see they left early.
