Be among the first to enjoy this beautiful designer renovated home with updated stainless kitchen appliances, granite and quartz kitchen countertops and much more. Bathe in one of the two large bathrooms or in one of the 2 outdoor showers. The large heated pool is amazing with generous deck space that includes 6 lounge chairs or relax on one of the 2 deck spaces facing the pool. Each has an outdoor dining set with seating for 4. This is a wonderful home for family reunions, sleeping up to twelve with no additional cost.
The home is located only 4 houses from the beach. Walking distance! A golf cart is provided for convenience. Additional golf carts may be rented for convenience of large groups.
One of the best things about this home is the gorgeous views of the white, sandy beaches and Gulf of Mexico beyond. Watch the sunrise from the East side of the upper deck and set off the West side. With almost 5000 sq ft of deck space, it is easy to find a quiet place to relax while enjoying the outdoors. A large shaded deck is ready for R and R too.
Have kids? No problem. Our home has 2 foosball tables and one of the tables converts to a mini pool table to keep the little ones entertained. The beach is a short walk away from the home. Beach chairs and beach towels provided with beach umbrellas and sand toys to make your vacation even more fun for the kids.
Please stay at our home and enjoy North Captiva. A truly unique experience of an island that can still only be accessed by boat or plane. A ferry service runs several times daily. Our home is located next to the airstrip and we are fascinated watching the planes and occasional helicopters land. So Cool!
The fees includes cleaning of the home after your stay, a meet and greet with a local guide who will pick your party up from the ferry and bring you and your belongings to the home. This fee also includes a guide to bring you back to the ferry after your stay. The fee also includes sundries.

Q: How do I get to the island?
A: By Island Girl Ferry from Pine Island which runs every 2 hours. Please check their website for reservations, ferry times and up to date pricing. Leave your car and cares behind at the dock. No cars on the island... only golf carts!
Q: How do I get groceries?
A: Our property Manager will send you a grocery request form prior to your arrival and will bring the groceries to the home for you. Alternatively, you may bring groceries with you. If you choose to bring groceries, we suggest ordering ahead of time at the Publix Supermarket nearest Pine Island and picking the order up on your way to the Ferry.
Q: How many golf carts?
A: We currently have one golf cart. Additional golf carts may be requested from our property manager.
Q: Is the home close to the beach?
A: Yes. Our home is only a few houses away from the beach, a short walk or cart ride. The small island is surrounded by beaches and mangroves.
Q: Can weddings be held at the beach or home?
A: I am not aware of restrictions against this. Please have a permit if needed.
Q: Is there a bathtub?
A: Yes. One of the bathrooms has a tub.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Yes. The home has its own private, heated, large swimming pool.
Q: Are we in the NCIC club?
A: No. We have done a lot of research and did not find membership necessary because we have our own private, heated swimming pool as well as kayaks and games and books at the home.
Q: Is there shopping?
A: There is a convenience store on the island and a very cute gift shop.
Q: Do we have a boat dock?
A: Our home does not have a dock.
Q: Are there restaurants on the island?
A: Yes, there are 4 restaurants on the island.
Q: Is it noisy next to the airstrip?
A: No. It is very quiet with only an occasional take off or landing. The airstrip has no lights, so it can only be used during daylight hours.
Q: How far are the restaurants and shopping?
A: The island is only 0.5 x 4.5 miles total, so all 4 restaurants and gift shop are close to the home. 2/3 of the island is preserve.
Q: What is the closest airport?
A: RSW (Fort Myers International Airport)
Q: How do we go shopping in Fort Myers or Sanibel?
A: Upper Captiva is truly a remote getaway. We recommend shopping the surrounding areas before and after your stay on Upper Captiva. If you want a day trip, there are several boat rental agencies where you can rent boats or hire a captain to take you around for the day. They can help you arrange fishing or shopping excursions.
