Relaxing Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this fantastic property for a long Easter weekend and we could not have been more pleased to have done so! From the kitchens and outdoor spaces to the bedrooms and bathrooms, both the home and the cottage are very well appointed with everything one could need to thoroughly enjoy their visit. We had an incredible time fishing in the pond and stream, as well as hiking and relaxing. Furthermore, management was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. We so appreciated their amazing assistance in planning our stay, and we look forward to visiting this beautiful home in the future.

Stunning Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed many places in the Asheville area over the last 20 years, and this is by far our favorite! The house is immaculately kept with every amenity you could need! The guest cottage is updated with the latest as well, including heated floors in the bathrooms! Both spaces are decorated as if you have stepped into a designer magazine but with a feeling of relaxation and coziness. We had 5 couples with 3 in the main house and 2 in the guest cottage and it worked out perfectly. Our favorite spot to hang out was the covered patio with the fire place and heaters over looking the gorgeous grounds with the mountains and stream in the background!

It was an easy 20 min drive/Uber to our favorite spots in downtown Asheville and 8 min to the grocery store. The airport and Sierra Nevada brewing were only 15 min away.

We are already planning a return to the Retreat to enjoy it in the summer with our kids!

Gorgeous, amazing property!!

  • 5 of 5

This property lived up to the listing and photos and then some. It is an unbelievably gorgeous designer home. We had a large group (9 people) and we all kept saying how lucky we felt that we got to stay there. The home is well appointed and the property managers are responsive and flexible. It is about 25 minutes from downtown/the Biltmore, but it is worth it. Ubers were easy to get and the drive wasn't dangerous (being from Florida, we were concerned about driving in rain or ice). We had no issues getting to or from there. I highly recommend this property and hope I get to go back someday!

Great for families & wonderfully appointed!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! This home has it all!! The main house has a great layout- perfect for a group or family. The guest house is so quaint & works well for parents visiting, a nanny or older children! This property was perfect for our family weekend & only 20 minutes from downtowns Asheville. We enjoyed cozy fires both inside & outside (tons of wood provided) as well as cooking yummy meals in the gourmet kitchen. The kids loved playing on the gorgeous lawn & swinging down by the stream. We will definitely be back!!

The perfect home for a special celebration! Met my family to celebrate my grandmothers 85th birthday, and The Retreat did not disappoint.

The house was super clean. We cancelled reservations for dinner and chose to cook every night! The kitchen is huge and so well appointed.

There isn’t anything we wanted for, as the owners have thought of everything. This home is so comfortable…it is like staying in someones

“home”, not a vacation rental. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows, and the towels plentiful and high quality. Sitting out in the pavilion

with the fireplace and heaters was a special treat on a cold night, and the property is beautiful! I can’t say enough about this home, except that

we’re so glad we found it, and look forward to coming back for another epic reunion!

My family, 11 in total, celebrated my mothers 85th birthday at The Retreat and we could not have chosen a better home for the celebration.

The home is as advertised, and then some! There isn’t a detail overlooked, and some you never would have thought of. Beds are super

comfortable, plenty of towels, and the radiant heat floors and heated towel racks were especially appreciated in January!

Four generations, all with different needs, had plenty of room to gather together, or go off for some alone time. The kitchen is the center of the

home where everyone could either help with meal preparation, or just hang out and not be in the way. We ate every meal in…why go out when

you’ve a beautiful incredibly well outfitted kitchen, and gas grill just off the living/dining area!

Can’t say enough about this home! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll be back!
