My 2 night stay
It was a cozy cabin in the woods near a river, just as advertised. The owners were easy to communicate with. The kitchen was well stocked and they left plenty of cut wood for the large fireplace. There were no problems. It housed 4 comfortably and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Very cozy cabin! We felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. Also very clean!
We had a great experience here! Close to town but not too close. Also very close to Paradise which is great! We really enjoyed cozying up to the fire and reading books and playing games! Felt good to disconnect for the weekend. Would recommend!
Cozy Packwood Cabin
We enjoyed curling up by the fire every night after a day of hiking, looking out onto the forest in the morning. Kitchen had everything we needed in the way of pans, gadgets, dishes, etc. to make great meals. It's a lovely spot!
Perfect cozy HQ in the heart of Rainier
The title says it all: the cabin in Packwood is super cozy (wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bedrooms) and the location right on a bubbling stream couldn't be beat. We spent a couple nights here while exploring the Rainier area and it was a perfect jumping off point. Just about an hour drive to the Paradise hiking area and close to other amazing views. Highly recommended!
Cozy, rustic cabin close to Mount Rainier
Charming accommodations, adjacent river, and proximity to Mount Rainier National Park are all reasons to rent this cabin! The fireplace was amazing, and falling asleep in the loft bedroom was serene. Ann was an excellent host and extremely responsive. Heads up, the grill is a bit tricky, and needs a little work, but is definitely manageable. Overall a wonderful home base for a weekend of exploring!
My boyfriend and I felt quickly at home here! It was such a treat to drink coffee and watch the elk walk by in the mornings, and to make dinner in the kitchen at night. Thank you for creating a true retreat! (including from technology! I have AT&T and did not have reception in addition to no wifi at the house but it was very nice to be disconnected for a while! if you do need to connect, they have wifi at the IGA or the Mountain Goat Coffee)
