I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Our stay was amazing! The house is even more beautiful than the photos, if that is possible. Everything would could have wanted in a rental AND MORE!!!

Property is in a great neighborhood. Home has been upgraded and had many nice amenities. Home does need a good professional cleaning of drapes, light fixtures, spider webs, and upholstery furniture. Overall it was clean and well stocked with linens and the kitchen had many amenities. Would recommend additional silverware; a bit short on forks and spoons. We did discover the grill was extremely dirty and had to be scrubbed clean and then the ignitor switch did not work. Owner brought a new grill the next day, but we no longer needed the grill. We had issues with sugar ants, big black ants and roaches inside the house. The owner blamed us because we had a family BBQ one night, and all the bugs came in per him. We had previously advised the owner of the family BBQ when booking but he messaged and stated he observed lots of activity at the front door (family arriving) through his surveillance system. Owner had a ring doorbell and outdoor security camera. Owner is within his rights to have those cameras but this should have been disclosed in the listing for people uncomfortable with this type of surveillance. He also advised us that cars could not park on the street./lawn. One car was leaking a bit of brake fluid so we asked them to park on the street so as to not mar the driveway. Cars were not parked anywhere near sprinkler heads or damaged anything in the lawn. Owner advised he did come at some point and spray for ants but it was still an issue inside the house. Would also recommend that the owners leave a few dishwasher and laundry tabs to get renter started along with body soap and shampoo as welcome amenities. This would elevate the home to a five star property with the thorough cleaning and spraying for bugs.

Our home is regularly maintained and we schedule deep cleanings on a consistent basis to be completed by professional cleaning staff. The kitchen is fully stocked with forks and spoons to satisfy a family of 8 and additional visitors but not in your case where you violated our house rules and had a party of 29 people at our home without our permission this is likely why you were short on utensils because the home is not made to occupy an additional 29 visitors. We regularly clean the grill and refuel the propane for our guests but as soon as we saw your concern we immediately purchased and set up a brand new grill for you the next day which you also did not need because your party of 29+ people had likely departed. As far as your concern for your claim of insects inside the home, we take this business and our home very seriously and do an in-depth walkthrough prior to every guest check-in to ensure these things do not happen and we schedule professional pest control maintenance to spray the home regularly, therefore, we are 100% confident that there were no insects due to us but we will take it as constructive criticism and consult with our pest control provider so our future guests can rest assured. We take the safety of our home and guests very seriously and we do have a Ring doorbell system which is for the ease of access for our guests and they can easily reach us in case of an emergency with the press of a button, it also makes the check-in process much easier as well, the exterior surveillance system is for the safety of the home and guests as well and we do disclose in our listing that check-ins/outs are monitored by exterior surveillance in our VRBO Listing. As per the parking we advised you that street parking was not allowed due to the HOA ordinance and you proceeded to have your multiple vehicles park all over the grass causing damage to the sprinklers and the lawn, of the multiple vehicles in the driveway one vehicle leaked fluid sloping down the driveway and caused staining which we now have to re-paint at our expense.
We go above and beyond for our guests every stay to ensure they have a great time and will continue to do so but in the future please do respect owner's homes and remember this is someone's home being extended to you for you and your family's enjoyment, Not to host a party of 29+ people.

We Had A Great Stay
We had a great time at Jacob and Maria's place. The house is beautiful, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms and beds, and is convienently located to some of the local shopping. Unfortunately a couple of the extra amenenties, hotubs, weren't working during our stay. But we were staying in the area to visit family in Crystal River, and those were bonus amenities anyways, so it didn't ruin anything for us.
We rented a pontoon in Homosassa and saw a great number of Manatee in the Springs and Dolphins in the Gulf. We had an amazing time visiting the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Plus we went to the aquariums in Tarpon Springs and Clearwater. We also enjoyed our time visiting with our family.
Overall we had an excellent vacation and we can't wait to visit the Spring Hill / Brooksville area again. Thank you once again to Jacob and Maria for letting me and my family stay in their home.
After excepting our service animal per text, they refused us entry to the rental house upon arrival. Had to find other accommodations. Were finally given a refund, but not with any help from these people. Be very careful when dealing with them, they lie.
We are deeply saddened to see your negative review of our home. We put our hearts and 100% effort so each and every guest can have a fantastic stay and vacation. When your reservation request came in we were incredibly responsive and accepted it immediately. The request contained no message, text or writing whatsoever and we had no idea that your emotional support animal would be attending the stay with you. We know you had a long trip to our home and we did allow you entry and you agreed that you have a relative that lives close by and would gladly accept the dog and it would be no issue for you. We were relieved because we are incredibly allergic to dogs and market our home as pet free to all travelers. During the check in we did find out the dog is an emotional support animal and not a service dog as you told us at the door. After 24 hours the next day you contacted us and let us know you chose to leave the home, and we understand and let VRBO know to go ahead and issue you a full refund and we offered to help you find another place locally that would accept your service dog so we can make your trip as smooth as possible. We sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and wished you a safe trip. Once again we are saddened to see such a negative review so long after your trip but we want you to know we would never refuse any of our guests entry into the home and we never had any message, text or awareness that your emotional support animal would be attending.
