About Vacasa

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Don’t rent this house

  • 1 of 5

If it was possible to leave no stars at all I would upon arrival the house was filthy every plate we took out of the cupboard we had to wash all the pots and pans we had to wash before we could use them. The downstairs bathroom has a heater great that you could fall through the floor there’s no screens on the windows there’s no air-conditioning or fans and sometimes it read upwards of 86° in the bedrooms I called the vacation company that’s in charge of this home spoke with somebody and they were going to get back to me and never did . I made two more attempts to call the company back and was only put on hold with no answer from anyone. The cobwebs in the bedrooms had dust on them so Lord knows how long those had been there . I read in previous reviews the stove did not work and that they had replaced it or fixed so that is not the case it’s still does not work you can’t see the temperature that you’re putting the oven on or if it’s even functioning correctly. The floors in the bathrooms were so dirty that we laid towels down onto walk in there. The backsplash in the kitchen behind the stove was ridiculously greasy and had food splattered on it and there was dried up lemons in the refrigerator drawer in something brown frozen to the bottom of the freezer to the point where we didn’t even use it we kept our coolers. There is an adorable little bridge on the property going over to stream so we tried to let our kids play over there but something had gotten into the trash in there was trash all over the side of the house broken glasses therefore the kids had to say on the deck. The Cleaning company in charge of this house needs to be fired in they need to find a new one along with the management company not returning a phone call with the renter when they file a complaint is really unacceptable . the bottom line is this house should not be rented

The only disappointment was the that the oven didn’t work. Stove top was fine.... but would have preferred to use the oven.

Good for a big crowd

  • 3 of 5

Although the house could’ve been a bit cleaner and the stove needs some work, it was a great place for us to stay with a lot of people. We have eight adults and three children with plenty of room. I wish the deadbolt on the front door worked. The dirt road gets a little dicey in warm weather while the snow is melting. The area has a lot to offer including Woodstock, the Long Trail Brewery, and even the opportunity for a sleigh ride not too far away.
