Beautiful, Panoramic Diamond Head/Mountain views from our deluxe 1-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Waikiki.
This unit is the largest and the nicest in the building and is fully furnished for your comfort and convenience. It is our pleasure to provide you with a 'home' that will make your Hawaii vacation a most enjoyable experience.
We take pride in our lovely, clean, Non-smoking unit, which boast full kitchen (1 Private Bedroom) and a very large, 9 foot X 12 foot covered lanai where you can enjoy dining or sipping your favorite beverage after a hard day at the beach!
The large sun deck is located on the sixth floor along with a convenience store, laundry, and sauna. There is ample parking in the building.
Our very convenient location is just a short walk of 5 minutes to famous Waikiki Beaches, entertainment, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, the Waikiki Aquarium, Queen Kapiolani Park, International Marketplace and the Fort De Russy Army Museum.
The Bus stops at the corner and you can ride to any where on the island, if you prefer, or go anywhere on the Island. The popular Ala Moana Shopping Center and the new Waikiki Convention Center are about a 10 minute bus ride.
We are walking distance to many great restaurants, a full size grocery store and lots of wonderful attractions that make Waikiki so popular.
A laundry is available in the building, along with sauna, pool, and jacuzzi. A video store and a car rental agency are located on the ground floor of the building.
The Waikiki International Market Place is only a short stroll away. Be sure to visit other attractions very close by, such as the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium. Play some tennis at the lighted courts, go for a nice walk or vigorous jog, or check out an upcoming event at the outdoor Shell Amphitheater all on the grounds of Queen Kapiolani Park.
Secured covered parking is available in the building.
The Bus, which stops within a half block, offers transportation to local attractions, Pearl Harbor, Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Aloha Flea Market, Aloha Marketplace, Hanauma Bay, as well as trips around the Island. A car rental agency, video rental store ,and internet cafe are located on the ground floor.

About Roger Lane
I was born in Hawaii, my family has lived here for 129 years. My Grandmother was the first telephone operator at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel in 1927.My father was a civilian employee at Pearl Harbor, and was working during the bombing in 12/7/1941(I was not born yet). I have family on all the islands and I live in Hana Maui but also keep an apartment in Diamond Head.

Why Roger Lane chose Waikiki
I chose this beautiful apartment because of the view from the living room and the lanai off the bedroom. Every day you see Rainbows. Beside it is the largest apartment in the building, I wanted a comfortable place for families. My family stays here when they come to Hawaii to visit. It is 1 block from(Starbucks)+ all the restaurants and shopping and 2 blocks from the beach, every one is happy.
What makes this Condo unique
It also has a very large pool, jacuzzi and sauna,gym,BBQ's. And Roberts Hawaii airport shuttle drops you off and pick you up right in front for a reasonable fee. Enterprise Rental cars is right downstairs on ground floor. I like to run and walk so the Ala Wai Canal the apartment is located on is perfect.

Very Enjoyable Stay!
We returned last week and had a very enjoyable stay at this unit. The unit was very clean and equipped with a good supply of clean towels, bedding, beach gear, cooking utensils and cutlery. Beautiful view of the canal from the main living room window and off the Lanai. The Island Colony building is located within a very short walk of the International Marketplace, Food Pantry (convenient for groceries) and a few blocks away from the beach. The unit is a very good size so it made for a very comfortable stay for our family of 3. Roger was very responsive, friendly and easy to deal throughout the process from booking to check-out.
Thank you Roger for a very enjoyable stay. It was the perfect space for our family vacation and we hope to return again in one of the next winters ahead!

ANOTHER YEAR AT OUR HAPPY PLACE
Another year at Roger's condo on the books. Had a wonderful time and as every year, Roger's condo is our home away from home. The condo gives us a freedom, especially for meals and entertaining that a hotel does not provide and Roger's place is better in all ways than staying at a hotel. It is also close to the beach, shopping and happy hours!
Your like the family members I look forward to seeing every year, thank you for sharing your thoughts, I hope it helps other find their Happy Place with us.
Island Colony - Nice unit and Great Location
This condo is in the Seaside Island Colony which is very well located in Waikiki. It is within 3 minutes walk of a major bus transit stop and a short walk to many restaurants, shopping and Waikiki beach. The unit has a modern, well-appointed kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, utensils, dishes and sufficient food preparation pots, pans and bowls. We always prepared breakfast and dinner in the unit so having all of the kitchen equipment was good for us. It would have been nice to have a dishwasher but, given the space available, it would be extremely difficult to add.
In the living area, there is a large, flatscreen smart TV with cable. We found the furnishings to be comfortable albeit a bit dated and appreciated that the wifi has a secure connection. Large windows look out on the Ala Wai Canal and a public golf course and provide good cooling air flow. The large hall closet is equipped with a generous supply of hangars, a miscellany of beach paraphernalia and the necessary floor cleaning appliances. The bathroom has a modern granite-top vanity, duel-flush toilet and a larger tub/shower combo. The bedroom has a comfortable pillow-top queen bed, small nightstands and a flatscreen TV. From the bedroom, sliding glass doors lead to the balcony where there is seating for 4 and also looks out on the Canal and the public golf course. A portable air-conditioning unit in the bedroom made for comfortable sleeping at night.
We enjoyed our stay in this unit and found it to be in an excellent location for us and felt safe both in the neighborhood and in the building. We appreciated the security that the building offered. We were issued key fobs programmed by the Security Desk in the lobby that were necessary to enter the building, operate the elevators, access the fitness room and exit the 6th floor swimming pool, hot tub, barbecue and laundry areas. We did not rent a car for our 12-day stay here and were able to walk or take public transport (The Bus) to everywhere that we wanted to go including Chinatown, the Iolani Palace, city art museums, the Aloha Stadium, the Sony Open, Kailua and Hanauma Bay.
Condo was what we expected And clean
Felt like home away from home after a few days. Located in the middle of everything and had a nice view of the mountains from the living room. Came with enough stuff to cook some meals at home.
This is a busy city so if your looking for peace and quiet Waikiki may not be for you. But if you like lots of food options, great shopping, a couple of beach options( these are busy beaches with lots of activities to rent and do)
