Now open for the SEC championship game and the Chick-Fil-A (Peach Bowl) in Atlanta on Dec. 1 and December 28. The Mercedes -Benz Stadium is 3.5 miles away front the Taft House or just under a 15 minute Uber ride.

While many properties claim to be across the street from Piedmont Park, the Taft House is one of the few properties that is literally across the street from the Park (see photos). The Taft House is half way between the Belt Line and Midtown’s bars and restaurants (see map). Getting around Midtown is super easy: a short 12 minute walk to MARTA, a 15 minute walk to Trader Joe's, Whole foods, Starbucks, Midtown Arts Cinema, and a quick Uber to various breweries, bars, restaurants.
The Taft House has parking for two cars in the attached garage and two cars in the driveway. No need to park on the street and no parking tickets.
Inside the Taft House:
Each of the FOUR true bedrooms (not sofa beds or air mattresses) are clean and clutter free w/ either a queen or king size bed. Each room is tastefully decorated with 800+ thread count sheets, soft pillows, and fresh towels. Most of the bedrooms are on different levels of the house so you and your group will enjoy maximum privacy in the evening.
The updated and contemporary bathrooms are all attached to a bedroom so each room/bath combination offers substantial privacy. The bathrooms are stocked w Pantene shampoo, Oil of Olay body wash, and lavender scented liquid hand soap. The master shower has two shower heads and a rain shower head w a separate jetted tub, plus dual sinks.
There Is a living room w park views and a “TV room” in the loft space that offers amazing views of the park.
The living room has a 55” Samsung flat screen w/ a JBL sound bar and subwoofer. Bluetooth pandora on the JBL sound bar or watch TV with theatre quality.
The loft has a 65” Samsung flat screen tv w/ surround sound. A large and comfy Mitchell Gold sofa wraps around the room, offering plenty of seating for movie night with the family. Connect your phone’s Bluetooth to airplay on the top floors and listen to your favorite music on the surround speakers.
There are three thermostats in the house that provide maximum comfort for each bedroom level.
The Taft House has Emtek electronic door locks on all exterior doors to provide you with a quick and simple check in process.
The house is over 3200 square feet so guests will have plenty of space to relax. Enjoy a family dinner on the large Room&Board maple wood dining room table that fits 6-9. Use the extension for additional space. The kitchen has plenty of pots, plates, forks, spoons, cups, wine glasses (prob too many of those).

At The Taft House, you will enjoy the following work amenities: a large work desk and office chair over looking piedmont park (see photo), a 27” Mac computer with internet and WiFi, a personal Keurig coffee machine stocked with Starbucks and various other coffee flavors to start your day (there are two Keurig machines in the house, one is dedicated for the work area). The Taft House also has Emtek electronic door locks on all exterior doors to provide you with a quick and simple check in process. You will find 800 thread count sheets on all of the beds, and each closet carries hangers,extra towels, and pillows. The bathrooms are stocked w quality soap and shampoo. The Taft House also has an iron, steamer, and iron board for your convenience. Get to work quickly as Midtown, downtown, and buckhead are all minutes away.
Lovely outdoor spaces decorated in bluestone. The front patio has several Crate&Barrel benches w cushions in the garage. The small backyard space offers additional outdoor space w comfortable cushion chairs. Of course, the park is across the street so feel free to use the beach chairs in garage.
