                                            Good: house was nice and clean. Proximity to historic sites and food was great. We were able to walk everywhere. Which was good because...

                                            Bad: we booked this property over other similar properties because it says "there is parking for one car". We did not want to have to look for parking and wanted to be close to our rental. Then we get our confirmation email and it says "guest may park 1 vehicle in the small parking lot just past the building; it is first come first served". We took this to mean, we had a spot, but which spot would be first come first served. When we arrived we found that was not the case. The lot was full. We text Turnkey and they just sent the above "first come first served". No help at all. We had to squeeze in a not real spot (along with another car) and not take our car out for fear of losing that spot. This may not be a big deal to some, but it was to us. Wish they would have been truthful from the start and we would have kept looking for another house.

                                            One more Bad: homeless people in the alley which is what the front door faces. First morning we head out and almost walk over someone sleeping in a sleeping bag 10 feet from our door. The next day as we are coming home around 5pm there are 5 homeless men just standing and talking 5 feet from our door. I was traveling with all women and we didn't feel safe. I know that owners and Turnkey can't control this, but wanted people to know its an issue.

                                            This is a great spot for walking the squares and downtown. We felt safe even at night. Quiet for sleeping and mornings. Clean and well maintained although it is old so steps upstairs creak. I would not hesitate to rent again and you should not either. Fantastic getaway. Great shopping, try Flying Monk on broughton st. , Vinnie Van Gogos a pizza institution in market square and Collins quarter on Bull st. All are excellent restaurants. Drive out to Tybee Island for seafood.

                                            The listing was accurate as far as the actual property itself. Very well maintained and up to date date amenities The location was in walking distance to all city attractions. The location description should be updated. In my opinion, the property is not on a lane but an alley. Across the alley is the back of commercial properties. One was under construction and were noisy at times during the day

                                            My husband and I and another couple recently shared this two-bedroom house conveniently located in Savannah's historic district. East Perry Lane is the kind of street people outside of Savannah would call an alley, but this geography should not reflect badly on the property. The house has been thoroughly renovated, and the location is secluded and quiet. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived, and the amenities made it easy to live in for our one-week stay. First-class linens in the bedrooms and bath and a fully equipped kitchen kept us very pampered for our long days of touring Savannah. Security was excellent. The rental agency established a trusting relationship with us from the beginning and their staff was always available to answer questions. They patiently helped us navigate the home's security arrangements. We would stay here again and would recommend the rental to others.
