LOCATION--- Our Dreamcatcher Cabin is perfectly located between Zion National Park (22miles) and Bryce Canyon National Park (44miles) on highway 89 at mile marker 91.9.
CABIN---People tell us they love our cozy little cabin and the nature that surrounds it. With the majestic mountains as a stunning back drop, a pristine trout stream runs just past the cabin. Dreamcatcher has high vaulted ceilings and walls sculpted in the Southwest style. The kitchen has everything for the Chef to preform his or her magic, including spices etc. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and a 40 inch hi def TV and blue ray player and wifi. The living room has a new queen sized sofa sleeper, very comfortable.
It is intimate and cozy. Perfect for two couples or a small family. There are board games inside and nature outside
If you haven't hiked enough in Bryce Canyon, Zion and Grand Canyon, you can hike to the top of the mountain behind the Dreamcatcher Cabin. Looking down half way into the valley, you will see a hidden lake. Old timers from the area say that there is no bottom to this lake. As boys, they connected all the wire in the valley and attached it to a rock. They never found the bottom.
ATTRACTIONS-Make no mistake about it, the canyons are the BIG events. [Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon]. They are exciting and dramatic! But it is also wonderful to come home, relax, and sit and listen to the soothing sounds of serene nature. The bright blue sky, mountain vistas, and the starry, starry nights would capture Van Gogh's heart.

About Terry Behling
Audrey was a nurse for many years and Terry was an iron worker. We have children, grandchildren and one great grand child. Sounds like we are old. Nonsense! My wife can hold one end of a sheet rock while I nail it. Don't let the fact that she is little, fool you. I don't mess with her and I am six feet five inches tall. Ours is a love story, so I'm partial and I brag a little. I am a Vietnam era veteran who is an avid Veteran for Peace. Audrey is from the Western Shoshone Tribe whose brother was killed in Vietnam, We have a passion to end our wars. We love the Veterans who are suffering greatly with mental and physical disorders related to the wars. We are also advocates for alternative energy. We love all people and believe that all people are the same irrespective, of color, shape or size. We named our cabin 'Dreamcatcher' because of my wife's Native American culture. Dreamcatchers, made in the shape of funnel, catch the bad dreams and let the good ones through so that you can snuggle into our comfortable beds and let the happy dreams come. My beautiful wife, the love of everyone that meets her, including me, greets our guest with a sincere desire to serve and share.
Terry Behling purchased this Cabin in 1994
Why Terry Behling chose Glendale
As we drove from the desert looking for property we were drawn to the beauty of this enchanted valley by the green trees and mountains. We were looking to leave the smog filled city and change our life style. We had only two requirements: that the property had water and trees, it had more than water, it had a pristine trout stream. It had more than trees, it was covered with trees. We were ecstatic. We bought the place immediately. For the next several years we built three cabins.
What makes this Cabin unique
Nestled up againist a majestic mountian covered with trees are three log cabins. A garden and orchards first come into view after you cross the bridge over our little trout stream which is the east fork of the Virgin river. Traveling on you will come to the first cabin, the Dreamcatcher which is surrounded by fruit trees and a garden. Get out and relax in our swinging chair under the cherry tree and take a deep breath of the pure mountain air while you recuperate from the drive or have a drink on the patio and kick back and take in the scenery. Everything that was ever here in the way of wild life is still here. We have on occasion seen elk, deer, rabbits, coyotes, skunks, and badgers. I could go on, but you get the picture. The most frequent animal guests are Hummingbirds, wild turkeys and squirrels. The reason for the animal life is that the area behind us is untouched by man with the exception of a few ranchers.

Wonderful respite after busy days.
Very much liked everything about it. Only slight drawbacks were lousy grocery store and few restaurants nearby. Owners very nice and helpful.
On main road but secluded. Easy drives to national parks and other hikes and off road activities.
We live in the country, serene and beautiful.
We do lack the big grocery stores and restaurants but they are the best we can have. You will surely not go hungry.
Wonderful cabin, lots of quiet.
The owners were wonderful, the house was very clean. This property/owner provided more amenities than I have ever experienced in all of my rental experiences. Easy access to parks, supplies. Very comfortable and relaxing. Some wildlife spotted.
