Tucked away on a hilltop in the beautiful and sought after neighborhood of Montecito Heights. A beautiful and zen 1958 mid century home, complete with a boomerang roofline! Even though the place is close to all the hip neighborhoods, it is extremely quiet. The only thing you might hear at night is a pack of local Coyotes and owls in nearby trees! It almost feels like the countryside, despite being close to Downtown, Highland Park, Echo Park, Silverlake, Mt Washington.
The house is next to Ernest Debs Park with its pond about a 10 minutes away. The park is great for a morning hike and evening sunsets.
The large garden has 2 orange trees a lemon tree, a grapefruit tree and 2 avocado trees.
It has a very relaxing hammock under one of the orange trees. It also has a BBQ.
In the back there is a large Moroccan themed canvas tent. It has a bed with a comforter.
Great for an afternoon nap or a "camp in the garden" night. The tent has views of the San Gabriel mountains.
The house has hardwood floors and high ceilings, it almost feels like an alpine lodge.
If you are careful, play some records on the vintage Bang & Olufsen stereo.
It has a loft and a TV/music/guest room with a storer with bluetooth capabilities. The kitchen has all you need, including a Gaggia espresso maker.
