This gorgeous home was built in 1890 by Henry C Cockrill, and is two short blocks from historic downtown Bozeman, Montana, with its world-class dining, vibrant nightlife, and boutique shopping. The house easily accommodates families, small groups or can be a romantic getaway for two. With antique sinks and furniture, exposed brick, and lovely wood features, you’ll have the pleasure of experiencing a taste of Bozeman’s distinguished past in its famed Bon Ton District.
We have a fenced-in yard, perfect for letting the kids run free and enjoying our beautiful summer nights. There is private off-street parking in the alleyway, as well as on-street space when available. The front entrance has a wide porch with comfy furniture for watching the world pass by or savoring a glass of wine at sunset.
Next to the well-stocked kitchen is the laundry, complete with washer, dryer, and a half-bath. The main living area has plenty of seating, a dormant fireplace and tall windows that allow lots of bright light to flood the space. It is connected to the dining room with a large table that easily fits 8. Beyond the main living area, and separated by French doors, is the den. There are two couches in there—one of which is a pull-out—and a 50" flat screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player and video library.
The upstairs boasts a master bedroom with great natural lighting and a private master bath and walk-in closet. Two queen bedrooms share a full bath with a claw foot tub and antique fixtures.
Whatever your reason for traveling to southwest Montana, this historic downtown home is the perfect base camp.
