Basement unit with teenage party crowd staying in unit upstairs

  • 2 of 5

We didn't realize this was a basement unit below another rental unit or we might have not booked it. Unfortunately the worst happened as there was a teenage age group party going on above us all night. We did speak with the group and expressed our concerns about the noise but the party went on all night and into the wee hours. Beyond the party, it was a very dark unit because it was below level and although it was a comfortable unit, we won't be booking this unit again.

Lacking in comfort!

  • 3 of 5

This property is acceptable. Appears to have been constructed by a mediocre-at-best developer. While the interior is nice, the furnishings are worse than a college dorm room. The couch is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture you can imagine. The bed is beyond disappointing. The bed frame is a basic metal frame with a headboard jammed between it and the wall. Apparently bolting the headboard to the cheap frame must have been too time-consuming! While the kitchen is nice, it lacks a stove. So if you plan on making breakfast before hitting the slopes, this place isn’t for you.

Access to the unit is by a keypad door lock. You can’t lock the deadbolt because it is keyed from both sides and there’s no key left in the unit or the lockbox.

I’d imagine that this rental is at least $250/night during the ski season and for that kind of money, it isn’t worth it.
