This property has it all. The lake, the dock, an acre and a 1/2 of woodlands. The house, new in 2003, has many amenities. If the weather isn't just as you like it or you've had enough sun, there's always a challenging game of ping pong, a relaxing game of pool. Bring your favorite action packed movies to hear on the surround sound. There are plenty of quiet places in the house to get away with a good book. The central location makes it close to exploring the 'Brewster Flats', Classic plays at the 'Dennis Playhouse', Rolling surf at the 'National Seashore', best beaches on the Cape in W. Dennis along with waterfront dinning at the Lighthouse Inn. Some of the best Bass fishing on the East Coast from the shore or Guided small boat inquire with email. Miles and Miles of newly resurfaced bike trails. Shopping in Chatham, Antiquing on Route 6A, Exploring Rock Harbor in Eastham or Sesuit Harbor in Dennis, it's all close by. Or just hang at the waters edge. This place has it all...

About Greg Stone
We bought this property to build a family ready vacation rental, Long Pond is a large, clean lake for fun filled days of water activities. My passion is to ski on the lake from a portion of the property not used by the renters. We have been able to ski on the lake year round (when not iced over) for numerous years.

Long Pond, a nice place to stay on Cape Cod
We loved this home and the location was perfect.
We did bring our boat and were able to enjoy many hours on the pond and awesome new dock. Worked out to be a great location to do day trips to Provincetown, Chatham, Breakwater Beach, Nauset Beach, and took a fishing boat out of Harwich Port then returned to beautiful calm relaxing waters on the pond where the kids (ages 15-21) enjoyed kayaking, swimming, fishing,
boating, and sunning. The listing was right on with the layout of the house and amenities and was clean and well-maintained. Could have used a TV in upstairs MB and more lighting in basement but not a deal breaker. I would recommend this this to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation to a busy Cape Cod.
Tammi, Thanks for your suggestions, glad you had a great time. This year I put a new TV in the downstairs MB and will probably put one in the upstairs MB for next season.
Hope to see you next year. Greg
Awesome location for big family vacation!
This place was awesome! I don't think I can say enough good things about it. The parking was ample. The house was clean and enormous! We had enough room inside for 8 adults and some children. The kitchen was great with a nice desk area for a computer. It had an island with seats and the whole living area/kitchen and dining was all open so we could all have conversations all the time. BR set up worked out fine too. The place has a huge deck outdoors (2) and a nice front covered porch. Has a short beautiful path to a very large lake and dock that we took our boat in. Kids loved hanging out on the dock or the game room. Or we drove 1 minute down the road to the Lake beach front which we liked better than the ocean. No traffic in this area...nice and quiet! Also had a wonderful whirlpool tub. I could go on and on about this place! And the owner Greg was great to work with!
Harwich is central to many of Cape Cod's attractions, including the Cape Playhouse, the National Seashore, great shopping in Chatham and Brewster, the wonderful Brewster and Orleans 'flats' created when the tide goes out and exposes a mile out of sand flats. Also near the best family beaches on the Cape in Dennis or... not go anywhere and relax at the waters edge on Long Pond or teaching your kids how to water ski, sail, canoe, row, wake board and fish.
Other Activities: Bring your boat to keep right at the property on the dock or on the shore any type of boat.
Golf: Numerous public courses are located within 20 minute drive
Ski: Skiing on the pond is best morning and evening, generally mid to late afternoon a southwest breeze will cool down the hot mid-summer sun
