We have traveled throughout Mexico for over 30 years, from the Yucatan, to Oaxaca, to the beach towns and ancient ruins. We love the warmth, the color and variety of flavors that greet you in this friendly country. After visiting San Miguel we fell in love! This marvelous town is quaint, offers ancient beauty as well as fine art, music of many genres and a choice of dining that indulges almost any wish. The people here are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help. After discovering the town's lovely ambience we wanted to return again and again. We love the privacy and natural charm of this bright and beautiful home. The central location and terrace views are simply magnificent! It is only a short walk (10 minutes) to the Jardín and town center, while being close to the Instituto de Allende, yet out of the hustle and bustle of Centro. Many fine restaurants, art galleries, studios and the beautiful Parque Juárez are only a short stroll away. The house is also in close proximity to colorful boutiques, artisan shops and handicraft stores. If you want a break from the cobblestone streets on occasion, taxis are readily available for only 30-50 pesos and will take you anywhere in town. We take great pleasure in that our casa is located on a quiet street surrounded by friendly Mexican, American and Canadian neighbors.

What makes this House unique

We found this home very easy to live in as well as being spacious enough to allow for privacy. The colors and natural light struck us from the beginning as well as the ample amount of closet space.The house has a very earthy Mexican charm which is very pleasing including a balcony off of every bedroom and a terrace with incredible views of San Miguel. All of the amenities of home are available including Wifi, laundry room, courtyard fountain, powder room on the ground floor and a fully equipped kitchen with a blender, coffee pot, toaster and microwave. All the terrace furniture is brand new. We are also proud of the artwork displayed throughout the casa. Our neighborhood is friendly with a beautiful walking district, art studios, small grocery stores and bakery - all making it a great choice should you visit San Miguel!
