Serene stay in the woods.
This cabin provided a nice, quite and serene place to stay while visiting relatives in the Smithville area. The area provided an abundance of wildlife. The grandkids enjoyed the open concept areas of the cabin providing them ample room to play.
We are really glad to hear the McCarty's had a good stay. They were considered the perfect guest, with things taken care of as their own. Anyone would be satisfied to have them stay.
We had a very restful and amazing time. Thank you so much
Our guest took very good care of our place and were very good communicators. The cleaning crew was impressed! Anyone would be pleased renting to this family. They are welcome at our place anytime.
My kind of fancy camping!
We rented this cabin for a weekend with some friends and we all enjoyed it. It was a perfect fall weekend for a bonfire, which we burned the ENTIRE time we were there! The kids loved the loft space and the wooded area behind the cabin. The beds were really comfy, which was a plus for everyone. The cabin pretty much has everything you would need to make a perfect stay!
Quiet and beautiful.
Other than the one day without air conditioning our time there was great. The scenery was wonderful and the deer were awesome. The cabin was big and really nice and clean. Everything we needed was handy, and the kitchen was really super. We had some friends over for dinner and it was just a great time. Hope to come again sometime. Thank you Corey.
George and Sandy
George and his family were great guest at our cabin. We spoke on Sunday morning about the air and he was so gracious. We really enjoyed having them, they were extra clean and neat. They went above and beyond in taking care of things - Thank you! Anyone would welcome this family to their property, no doubt - and when you do, make sure the filter has been changed on your air unit!
Peaceful and relaxing get a way
We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Corey for answering my questions quickly. You have a lovely cabin and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed seeing all the deer and just sitting outside and taking in the peace and quiet. It took about 20-30 minutes to get to restaurant and shopping but that was perfect for us. Not to far but far enough. Looking forward to a return visit.
We are so glad y'all had a wonderful time. We love to hear how folks unplug and just get caught up with friends and family. We promote the cabin as a place to relax and not go go go. Looks like it was a great fit for you guys. Thank you for your kind words.
Cabin is excellent!!
The cabin is great. Nice, clean, and has everything you need to be comfortable. If you have kids like me, they’ll love staying in the loft and playing foosball. Corey is absolutely awesome in responding to your questions. The communication was great. The one thing I would add, which has nothing to do with the cabin or the owner is in regards to towing your boat, unloading, parking, etc. If you’re really going to be on the water all day everyday like I was then Four Seasons is a bit of a pain getting in and out (although it is only 0.7 mi from the cabin. If you’re towing your own boat and it’s a big boat it is an awkward one lane ramp. Not a big deal if you are a very seasoned tower of boats, but the added pain is that 4 Seasons doesn’t rent slips so you have to pull it out each day you stay and do it again tomorrow. They will, for $20, let you tie up on their dock overnight. Do not do this unless you have bumpers the size for ships cause it’ll beat the heck out of your boat cause it’s completely unprotected. If you’re good with hassling with your boat every morning and night, no worries. Again, this has nothing to do with the cabin or Corey...both awesome!! Just letting the guys like me (who have boating on the water as their focus) know what the marina situation is like. Also, the road from Smithville to the cabin is narrow, very winding, and has lots of very big potholes and rough patches (so be careful if you are towing a boat of considerable size). But a positive is that you can stop at Wal-Mart right before you get on that road to acquire all your grocery needs. Thanks again to Corey for his great communication.
