Queit, Cozy, and Peaceful !!
My boyfriend and just needed a little getaway and we picked this cabin. We absolutely loved it !! It has a great setting, total privacy and was nice and clean. Highly recommend Carvers Apple Orchard !! Can't wait to return !!!
Small & secluded
This cabin has great potential. It’s great if you’re not planning to make it a “stay-cation” and doing the tourist thing. ...but the shower literally hadn’t even been rinsed out before our stay, there was men’s body hair everywhere. The grass was too tall to let our kid and dogs play outside. One bed was super comfortable and the other, oh my, you can feel every spring. Granted, we were fleeing from a hurricane so the fact that it kept us safe and dry was a blessing. The location was great for us because we don’t like being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. With a little TLC this place would be great. Jeff was very responsive and called to check on our status from the hurricane. Overall we had a good stay and the owner was friendly and responsive. I would recommend it, just be mindful of the small things.
Great Vacation, Great cabin !!!!
My husband and I and our friends just had a great time at this cabin !! We just wanted to get away so no touristy stuff, we stayed at the cabin and relaxed, grilled, sat by the fire pit and soaked in the hot tub, the guys even played corn hole ! We just LOVED it !!!!
My husband and I are a little older and just love the mountains but not the craziness of all the tourist attractions. The cabin was perfect for us, very private, comfortable and clean ! We never went into town, but we really liked carvers Apple Orchard, Farmers Market and Restaurant !!
Slept like Babies !!!!
My husband and I booked this cabin for our Summer vacation and just loved it !!! We like being out in nature, hiking, tubing etc, and this cabin was perfect !! Every night we used the fire pit and then relaxed in the Hot Tub !!
Tennessee is amazing however our cabin not so much.
Cabin is very cute inside however.....upon arrival....microwave didn't work, hot tub didn't work, refrigerator had a bunch of water sitting inside of it with a crack in the bottom so it was also running into the drawers in bottom. We cleaned it out and put our food in it. The next day we went to pigeon forge and got home everything in refrigerator was warm and part of it had to be thrown away....there was cobwebs all over inside. Instructions said to put trash in receptacle outside.....there is none. To put dishes in dishwasher and clean before leaving.....there isn't one. Went to do dishes by hand and there's no dish rags and had to buy dish soap cause there wasn't enough to do a few dishes left in bottle. We had 4 wash clothes for showers. We had 4 people there for 4 days so had to go buy those. Pulled pans out to cook and pans and utensils were all nasty and dirty. One pan was completely rusted inside. We also had no lighting outside on deck or entrance. No light bulbs. This is the 6th cabin I've stayed in here in Tennessee and by far the worst. Never had a single problem at any of the others. With all this being said our trip was not very enjoyable. We had to spend a lot of unplanned money on things that we shouldn't have had to buy. Couldn't use anything we brought to put in microwave, half our food spoiled due to fridge quitting, had to buy wash clothes, dish soap, dish rags.....etc.etc.etc. Very disappointed. Feel we should be refunded for having to pay a cleaning fee on an already dirty cabin and for all the things we had to buy and all the food that spoiled. Not to mention we also had to share our cabin......with a lizard running around inside....
First the Fridge IS and always WAS in perfect working order, you can not pack and empty fridge with warm food and expect it to cool everything as quickly as a home fridge that already has cold items in it. Second the main cause for this review is because i charged them for the microwave because THEY BROKE IT !!! They ruined the keypad with their fingernails and the pad had to be replaced !!!!!
