Asheville is a city in western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s known for a vibrant arts scene and historic architecture, including the dome-topped Basilica of Saint Lawrence. The vast 19th-century Biltmore estate displays artwork by masters like Renoir. The Downtown Art District is filled with galleries and museums, and in the nearby River Arts District, former factory buildings house artists' studios.

Cozy, comfortable, and great location!
The stay was very cozy and comfortable! Location was great! Close to downtown! We would definitely stay there again!
Nice weekend getaway...
The place was perfect for our needs-close to downtown and Biltmore. It was clean and comfortable-you could tell Doug and Ann take pride in the rental. They were wonderful hosts and even offered advice on restaurants and entertainment. I highly recommend this cute studio apt for a nice weekend retreat!
Lovely quiet stay
My husband and I spent a lovely weekend (without kids!) in Asheville. This studio is clean, quiet, equipped with all you need to enjoy a weekend away. VERY close to all that Asheville has to offer.
Hurricane Florence did not stop this town. Drummers were in the park and 5 Walnut had crowds on the sidewalk listening to the music. We took our last river tubing trip this week.
Any season is a good season in Asheville. Come again soon when the leaves change.
Excellent Location, Peaceful, Spacious Studio
This flat was a great place to stay during a recent visit to Asheville. The location is just right- between downtown Asheville and the Biltmore area. The house is on a quiet street behind the garage on the bottom floor (no stairs). It was nice to have a king bed and a couch. The mattress was too firm for my personal back, so after night one I slept on the couch comfortably. Kitchenette has the basics as long as you don’t want to really cool... but Asheville being one of the most amazing places to eat in the country, you don’t need to be doing your own cooking! The bathroom was just right and water/plumbing all worked well, good water pressure. You could hear footsteps above you when people were home, in case that bothers you. Doug was very friendly and helpful and was sure we hadg everything we needed. A very pleasant stay!
Always rewarding to hear how much visitors love Asheville. It is not too late to catch a ballgame with the Asheville Tourists, see Chihuly's amazing glass blowing exhibit at the Biltmore Estate, or to let Zen Tubing arrange a relaxing float down the river. Ditto on the extraordinary dining. My wife and I happened across "Limones" on Eagle Street for a 9pm dinner -- ambience and savoriness to rival the Big Apple.

Perfectly cozy space for weekend getaway!
We loved our stay at Doug and Ann’s place! It was perfect for my fiancé and me during our weekend stay in Asheville. The bed is huge and the space had everything we needed. Covered parking was right by the door and the location was perfect for access to downtown and the Biltmore area.
Great weekend for a visit. Glad you enjoyed the convenience of being close to down town. The comedy show, "Laugh your Asheville off" was in town, and the Bacon Fest is coming up next weekend. Always something unique and entertaining to do here. Come again!
Quiet, snuggly and perfect distance from town
We so loved staying at Doug and Anne’s! We loved how quiet the studio is as well as the neighborhood. For a couple who wanted to explore downtown but go back to a safe, cute and quiet location to rest this was exactly what we were looking for. We also loved that this location had a king sized bed and kitchenette. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much! The Kings ❤️
The town was in fine form during your stay! Music at Pack's Park; an arts fare; blue skies. Come again. So glad you had an enjoyable stay.
