Chez Treme is over 120 years old and provides a true New Orleans experience. You are located in the heart of the historic Treme neighborhood and the birth place of Jazz music. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, and early in the city's history was the main neighborhood of free people of color. It remains an important center of the city's African-American and Créole culture, especially the modern brass band tradition.
Treme is a very vibrant neighborhood offering local restaurant favorites just blocks away. You're right down the street from Willie Mae's and Dooky Chase! Local jazz clubs are close by and second line brass band parades frequently come through the neighborhood. You will be just blocks from the Mardi Gras parade and main events on Orleans & Claiborne.
If you need a break from all the excitement, the house has two smart TV's with Hulu and Netflix. There is plenty of space to relax and recoup both inside the house and on the porch.
