This 3 bedroom & 3 bath home is located on Ashley Avenue which runs parallel to the sands of Folly Beach, meaning it is just a simple walk across the street to getting on the beach. However, being so far on the eastern side of Folly Beach means it is also right next to the beautiful marsh fed by the Folly River as a result of the narrowing of the island. The home boasts an ocean view porch as well as a marsh view porch. The marsh view porch is segmented so that part of it is screened-in and the other is open. The backyard is fenced in while gorgeous Live Oak trees frame the vista of the marsh as various creeks snake through the grasses.
Inside, hardwood flooring is used throughout the public domain which includes the living room, dining room and kitchen. Various blue tones are used on the walls and create a classic coastal ambiance. Colorful artwork and eclectic tiling, used in the kitchen and bathrooms, provides a vibrant, fun energy to the home. There is a spacious kitchen which has a roomy breakfast bar. The Blue Pelican is located near the Washout, Folly Beach’s most popular surf spot. But don’t let the term “popular” fool you. The home is 14 blocks from Center Street where most of the restaurants, bars and shopping on Folly Beach are located. Translation: relatively quiet and peaceful location to enjoy a coastal experience with your family and/or friends.

Sports & Adventure Activities
We loved this beautiful home. I could stand in the kitchen and see the ocean on one side and the marsh on the backside. The front and back decks were awesome for viewing or eating meals. In which we weren't able to do because of the cold front moving through.
However we enjoyed just hovering around the huge kitchen island where we cooked, talked, and ate.
The elevator wasn't working at first, but dunes properties had maintenance out within minutes. They were very nice and made sure our issue was resolved.
I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Great location. Home was perfect.
Would rent same house again. Quiet, beach was not crowded at all and having a LSV we could go anywhere without driving our cars.

This was our first visit to Folly Beach, with no recommendations on where to stay. Based on the photos and information on VRBO, we chose this pet-friendly house and we were not disappointed. The location is perfect - the elevator was great to haul groceries and luggage. Everything we needed was available. The decks and screened in porch, the fenced-in back yard for the dog, the furnishings and decor....all "spot on" and well-kept. It would have been nice to have a master bedroom with a king size bed, instead of a queen. Otherwise our stay was incredible!
We are so happy everyone had a nice time! The house is a great option for families and their pets :) We hope to host a future Folly Beach vacation!
We only stayed there 3 days but the house was great. Very comfortable. Loved the fenced in back yard and the beach right across the street.
wish the weather was better as there is a great front porch to sit and watch the sunrise.

Really nice house with a great view of the ocean and the marsh
We had a wonderful time at this house. It was able to accommodate our big group and we loved the views. The front porch faces the ocean and the back porch leads to a fenced-in backyard with a view of the marsh. You can watch the sun rise and set! The kitchen was great for our big group as well. And the property manager Mark was so helpful in making sure that we had everything we needed and he even gave us suggestions for things to do on Folly Beach. We definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation on Folly Beach and we plan to stay in this same house again next year.
This was the first time our family had rented a home instead of hotel rooms. It was very nice to have everyone in one place and to be able to cook meals. The house was described well in the listing and was cleaned nicely. Our family will rent a house again when we vacation in the area.

When booking a reservation for any of our properties, your reservation will automatically include a $69 Red Sky Damage Deposit Waiver. This is an insurance policy that covers up to $3,000.00 in accidental damages to the vacation rental property. We find that this allows out guests to have a worry free stay, as both the guests and the property owners are protected from unwanted expenses when damages occur. If you wish to remove the Damage Deposit Waiver, then a $3,000.00 deposit is required in its place.
