Very Comfortable house with a great yard.
If you know that in Nelson county you have to occupy a house to rent it everything makes sense. This house has a working office and the kitchen is used as well. We had the house to ourselves the whole weekend and it was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well mantained. It is in a central location. Working with Rhonda with very easy and she checked to be sure everything was good when we got there. We will go back.
Thank you glad you guys had a great stay.
A very nice home with a short walk to town.
Pam was very quick to respond to any correspondence. Her home was wonderful! Yes, it is slightly "lived in" but we knew that before we arrived and it wasn't a problem at all. It's a wonderful location, set on a side street, and has a beautiful backyard. There was fast food a block away and cute shops, bars, and restaurants in the downtown area that is only about a 15-minute walk. We would love to return.
Cabinets, closets and refrigerator extremely cluttered
Nice home and Great location, very nice owner, she responds quickly however we did have concerns.
I understand that owner works out of separate part of home, but didn’t realize the second bathroom is in the office and you have to share that with owner during work hours. I thought the second bathroom was in the part of the home that she would not be working in. She is a very sweet person however it is a bit bizarre To have someone walking in unannounced to the area of the home that you are renting at any given time. There was barely any room in the refrigerator or cabinets to put our things. The bathroom was cluttered full of prior guests shampoos, soaps, razor blades and all the drawers filled with random junk, this was consistent with the kitchen as well. The closets and laundry room had sheets and things balled up and thrown on the corners and all over the shelving. This is the sixth home we have rented but the only one that was full of other people’s crap. We literally had to move things into other cabinets so we could have enough room to put our food, bathroom supplies And clothes. The house seem to be clean at first glance but it is clear that no one is going through any of the cabinets and cleaning them out after each rental as we found things dating back to 2015 and found onions growing four inches of stems out of them and two soda bottles rolling out from under the sofa and recliner. If you are going to rent out a home to guests, you should at least clear out the cabinets, laundry room, closets, shower, and refrigerator so the tenant doesn’t have to. You should also have a separate refrigerator and microwave in your office so the tenant has somewhere to put their food. I would recommend this to someone that is just looking to spend the night Or looking for a party house, but definitely not for someone looking to prepare meals or concerned with unpacking. I actually took pictures and I wish I could attach them to give a clearer picture of the distinction we found.
I'm sorry about all the stuff that was in the bathroom . Most of it is mine it is my house and in Nelson county you have to live here here is plenty of cabinet space again my house my stuff . I will get with the clean crew I'm learning has we go. I do work out of my home. I was just being social next time I will just stay in my office
