This home-away-from-home exudes a feeling of welcome and relaxation. Virtually all furnishings and decor have just been purchased brand new, and great care has been taken to ensure quality and comfort. The ultra comfy pillow top queen size mattress and pillows, and the luxurious pure cotton bedding invite you to enjoy refreshing nights of sleep. The queen size sofa bed is also by far the most comfortable one we could find, both as a sofa or as a bed, so your guests or family members should sleep as restfully as you will! Wake up and treat yourself to a soak in the tub or an invigorating shower, and then help yourself to coffee or tea. The kitchen includes full size appliances (fridge, stove/oven, microwave) as well as small appliances and pots & pans, so feel free to cook to your heart's content. Need some clean laundry on your trip? The stacked washer/dryer with detergent is available for your use. Ultra highspeed Wifi (150MB) is included! And if you'd like, relax and choose from the extensive programming (for all ages) on the 40" TV. For your security we have also included a digital safe large enough for your laptop and other valuables. Enjoy too some of the little extras we have chosen to include--which you'll have to visit to find out about. You're going to want to keep coming back for further visits!

Either I (Rosemary) or Gary will meet you in person at the building entrance at the time we mutually agree on. After that, with your 'fob' you can easily access the secure building and your safe underground parking space.
Gary and/or I will do our best to make you feel welcome, to answer any questions you may have, and to be reachable as needed. We both are very well travelled, and always love meeting new people from all different countries and backgrounds!
The neighbourhood is truly ideal for your visit! Step out the front or back doors and enjoy organic coffee shops, Asian food (this is Chinatown!) or walk a couple of minutes further and either enjoy one of the popular local pubs or else dine at one of the quality seafood restaurants along the waterfront. A 3-minute walk brings you to the McPherson Playhouse for concerts and plays, City Hall, the Victoria Public Market and Mountain Equipment Co-op. A 15- minute walk brings you to a concert in the Royal Theatre or a large performance in the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre. Market Square is just across the street, and the nearby, spacious Bay Centre is ideal for serious shopping. A 15-minute walk will also get you to the Royal BC Museum and its amazing IMAX films, or to the BC Legislature. If you have more time to spare, perhaps go whale watching or take a bus and visit Victoria's spectacular Butchart Gardens (highly recommended-especially on Saturday firework display nights in the summer!). There's always lots to do and see in Victoria, so make the very most of your stay!
You can easily walk, cycle, take buses, taxis, bicycle rickshaws, romantic horse-drawn carriages, or drive yourself--the choice is yours! Public transit stops just minutes away.
Other things to note
When you request to book a stay in our condo, please also tell us about yourself and those who may be travelling with you. And kindly include the purpose(s) of your trip--i.e. what you are coming to Victoria for. Thank you. Please note that the condo and patio and complete building are no smoking areas. This is a strata building rule and we are subject to a $200 fine for violating this. This fine will be passed on to the renter if this occurs as well as costs to remove the smoke smell from the condo.

A - Growing and Production of Cannabis: The growing, production, processing, or manufacture of cannabis or any other drugs anywhere on the residential property, including within the rental unit is prohibited except where otherwise protected by law.
Smoking and Vaping: The tenant agrees to the following material term regarding smoking:
No vaping or smoking of any combustible material is permitted on the residential property, including within the rental unit.
B - Pets are not allowed to stay in the rental unit at any time
C - No Events may be performed in the rental unit at any time
