My first career was in education. However, once we built A DREAM COME TRUE, I started learning about fulfilling the dreams of our villa's renters and how to run a rental home that was thousands of miles away from home. I decided that I'd dedicate myself 100% to making our villa a wonderful, gracious respite for our family as well as the other families who rented from us. For many years before I built our home, our family rented beautiful homes directly from owners, and we were grateful for those opportunities. I decided I would only rent directly to guests and NOT through wholesalers who had never seen my unique, beautiful villa. I consider myself your 'Virgin Gorda Concierge' in advance of your stay, and I will do EVERYTHING I can to make sure you have your best vacation ever by assisting you with travel plans and finding flights to Virgin Gorda, with renting a vehicle, hiring a private chef, a boat rental, snorkel or scuba trips, spa services at the villa, or whatever will make YOUR trip memorable. I have always treated my guests as if they are good friends, with respect, and in return, I have been blessed with an excellent reputation and a villa that is one of the most popular luxury villas on Virgin Gorda. I am a VERY involved owner, and my husband and I visit our home four or five times a year. I've been a Property Manager for 18 years. Our children named our villa 'A DREAM COME TRUE' because the whole family dreamed of owning a villa on Virgin Gorda some day! One daughter honeymooned there, my son got married at Spring Bay in 2010, and we have 8 grandchildren age 12 and under who love coming to ADCT! I live on the coast north of Boston, MA. I enjoy the beach and ocean here in the summer.

Since 1980, my husband and I had traveled to lovely, unspoiled Virgin Gorda, and eventually brought our three children there as well. We always looked at property while on vacation and dreamed about building a home 'someday' as we enjoyed staying in other folks' villas. We'd take notes on what we liked in different homes and keep track of trends in the building industry. One Christmas vacation, we sent our kids home because we planned to stay on a second week (the oldest was a freshman in college). On our way back from the ferry dock, we saw a small sign on cardboard tacked to a piece of a tree alongside the road: Lots for Sale. It wasn't there earlier in the day. Immediately we inquired. We LOVED the land, the view, and we thought we almost could afford it! Immediately we showed the lot to our friend who builds luxury villas on Virgin Gorda, and we bought the land the same day! In December 1999, our home was almost ready. On Christmas Day, our family arrived to unpack two containers of new furniture, appliances, and everything from lamps to steak knives. The steps to the second floors were incomplete, so we needed to use ladders....but it was home!! If you look at our web site for a photo of our family floating in the pool at sunset, that was taken the first evening at sunset. A DREAM COME TRUE is designed to be ideal for families or couples sharing a villa that offers exceptional privacy to all because of the floor plan, yet plenty of space to come together to make memories. The HORIZON POOL is the centerpiece of the villa, and from there you will see the Caribbean change colors throughout the day into evening when gorgeous sunsets arrive. EVERY room and location at the villa has an OCEAN VIEW! There is a convenient pool bar with a refrigerator and professional gas grill. Our UNIQUE OCEANFRONT LOCATION and thatched-roof pergola has chaises where you can relax seaside. The boathouse is located there as well, with six double sit-aboard kayaks. Enjoy!
