There are not many rentals closer to the city center than this beautiful, centrally located 3-bedroom unit on the edge of downtown Estes Park (Estes Park Vacation License Permit #3076). Location, location, location! You can't go wrong with this gorgeous unit nestled in pine trees on the side of Prospect Mountain with views from the front patio to Lumpy Ridge. It's half a block from the edge of downtown & a 5 min drive to the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Don't fight for parking and enjoy Estes year round!
There's a lot to love about this unit -- recent updates include luxurious memory foam mattress toppers and a smart TV loaded with Netflix, Sling and Amazon Prime -- but my favorite thing is its utterly perfect location. If you stay here, you can leave your car behind and walk to pretty much everywhere in downtown Estes Park along the banks of the scenic Big Thompson River. This wonderful rental is not smack dab in the middle of downtown; instead, it's a half block away from the edge, and three blocks away from the center. That means you get all the benefit of being downtown without the noise and congestion.
This is a perfect rental unit for families. The kids walk to some of the nearby attractions (mini golf, big slide, adventure park, go carts) while the adults can relax in the cozy space. And the entrance to the National Park is a 5 minute drive. To get there, you avoid almost all of the crazy Estes Park traffic!
Once you walk into this warm vacation rental, you're greeted with a rustic, spacious living room with cozy chairs and a large leather couch, gas fireplace, and beautiful pine furnishings. The open floor plan leads to a modern kitchen that's fully equipped so you can cook your own meals. You'll have your own fridge, oven, and pots/pans/plates/dishes.
Attached to the living room is a large master bedroom suite with comfortable king size bed, lots of closet space and a great bathroom. Adjacent to the kitchen is a second full sized bathroom, a cozy and very quiet bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. You'll also have access to a washer/dryer in a closet next to the second bathroom.
This is a fully furnished, private space that you have complete access to, along with private parking. It includes cable television and super fast WiFi as well.
A few things I love about this unit: first, the location. It's really close to down, so you can walk pretty much anywhere and leave your car at the unit and avoid fighting for parking, which can be a hassle in the summertime.
Some of my favorite restaurants in town are easily accessible within a block or two: China Garden, Rock Cut Brewery, the Donut Haus, and Sweet Basilico (Italian -- great pizzas!). You're also right next to the big Estes Park slide and some fun family entertainment options (you can walk to a go-cart track and an adventure ropes course).
