Beautifully decorated one bedroom condo in Sombrero Area. Across from the Florida Keys Country Club's golf course with views of the course from your dining room and front door balcony. The golf course is now available for public use. Comfortable one bedroom, one bath unit that is priced right. There is high speed Wi-Fi and two flat screen televisions. Living room has queen size pull out sofa sleeper that sleeps two. Kitchen has been fully remodeled and has granite counter tops and full size appliances (no dishwasher). The king size bedroom has a balcony. Laundry facilities on site.

This condo is in the heart of Marathon, close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and the beautiful Sombrero Beach. Marathon is the "Heart of the Keys" and close to everything: Key West is 1 hour to the south, Islamorada is 45 minutes to the north. Two grocery stores are minutes away as well as the drug store, movie theater, department store and restaurants galore. Sombrero Beach is a short 2 minute drive. Award winning Bahia Honda State Park is just 15 minutes from the home. The 7 Mile bridge (2 min away) is an ideal spot to fish, or take a stroll and watch the sunset.

Full Amenities include: Pool and Tiki Hut. There is plenty of parking on site. There is an elevator also for your use. Rental of dock space available through the dock master. A restaurant is on site, however, post-Irma, is only open for take out pizza Wednesday through Saturday.

In need of a serious update !

Paint was peeling, listed dishwasher was not there. found cockroaches in living / kitchen area. To date have not received my security deposit.

Owner's Response: Robert, I spoke to you a few days after your stay and you said that you stayed at the Resort the night before, which was recently remodeled with all the latest bells and whistles, except for a kitchen. This unit is one of the nicest, privately owned units we manage at Skipjack (kitchen included). The pictures are totally accurate. The dishwasher was a typo, but you can surely see from the pictures there is not one there. My staff inspected it thoroughly before and after your stay. There is NO paint peeling anywhere! Also, I have never had any complaints about bugs. I would like to state here that you were able to rent this fully equipped unit for a weekly rate which the Resort does not offer. They only rent nightly. So you got a tremendous value for your money. When we spoke, you said you would revise your review. I really hope so. Anyway, thank you for staying with us. You even said you liked the guest basket we provided upon arrival with a bottle of wine and other goodies. I informed you that VRBO automatically refunds your deposit 14 days after your departure, so you should have received it by now.

Nice place for a good price

We enjoyed it. Good location - just a 5 min drive to the Sombrero beach, Publix is very close. Cozy and clean apartment, where you will find everything you need, including beach towels and umbrella. The only minor problem are noisy A/Cs, but we really did not need them in winter. We recommend it.
