A great neighborhood with plenty of things to do around, centrally located and with EASY access to all parts of LA.

A CLEAN and BRIGHT, very well taken care of 1100 sq. ft. FREE STANDING HOUSE all to yourself, with queen beds, walk-in closets, wood floors, TV, washer/dryer, and LOTS OF private parking.

Remodeled kitchen fully stocked with all the tools, coffee maker, oven, etc and a large dining room with dining table for 4 (and 2 extra chairs). There is a large GARDEN in the back with citrus trees, flowers, outdoor seating and fireplace!

Living room has a wood burning FIREPLACE (with wood!). Nice bedding in every room.

3 OFF STREET PARKING spaces (tandem front to back), and free street parking.

A short walk to over 20 amazing high rated restaurants, bars and shops in Culver City Downtown. Parks nearby.

3 min walk to Smart and Final Extra - large grocery and everything else store, Coffee Bean, In-N-Out, and many other locations. Sprouts, Trader Joe's and Ralph 5 min away.

Close to intersections of 405 and 10 freeways that will take you anywhere you want to go in the city. Westwood and UCLA, Brentwood areas a few min drive, as well as Beverly Hills / Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Pier / Promenade, Venice Beach.

If you need to go further North or South, the 405 freeway take you to many of areas of LA as well as the beach towns. Freeway 10 goes to LA Downtown and further east, or West to Santa Monica. Getty Museum is 7 miles and Century City 3.5 miles away. 12 minutes to the BEACH!

To summarize, it is a hip, walkable, fun and one of the the best located areas in the entire city!!

Close to Landmark Cinema (one of the best movie theaters in LA), Westside Pavilion Mall, and all the great restaurants on Pico near Westwood Blvd.

-Tea kettle, drip coffee maker, and French press.

-Full sized side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, plenty of food storage cabinets.

-6 burner stove with large oven and hood, microwave, toaster.

-Microwave oven.

Living Room has:

-Large flat screen TV and very comfy couches.

-WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE with wood (may be outside).

-Large glass windows.

Dining room has:

-Dining table for 4, with 2 extra chairs.

Bathroom has a shower and a separate tub. It is spotless and has plenty of fresh towels, soap and TP.

Side and back garden:

-Rose garden (bloom varies)

-Fruit trees including lemon, orange, grapefruit.

-Outdoor seating in the private Back Yard with FIREPLACE outside. BBQ can be provided on a request

No smoking in the house, no pets, no parties, no kids under 7. Maximum 5 overnight guests. Maximum 10 people allowed on the property at any given time (not including owner/tenant). Quiet neighborhood, quiet hours are 10:30p-7a Sun-Thurs., 11:30p-9a Fri. & Sat.

2 week is a minimum stay.

30 days or more requires lease and other legal agreements.

Excellent house in a great location with a superb host

This is a classic, early 20th-Centry Spanish-style house located in a conveniently central and accessible part of Los Angeles (Palms/Culver City). It is beautifully decorated and the owners have spared no expense to make their guests as comfortable as possible with modern, brand new appliances and everything else that one could need (including bar-b-que and fire pit). It is located minutes away by car to the 405 and 10 freeways (two of LA's main arteries) and literally around the corner/a couple of streets walking distance from the National Blvd/Exposition Avenue stop of the city's new light rail train. Sam is an immensely helpful, kind, and attentive host who genuinely went out of his way to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The house is the only single-family structure on a street with two-story apartment buildings, but I was nonetheless both very surprised and pleased at how quiet and private the house is. It has a lovely and peaceful backyard to relax in and the landscaping around the house is meticulously well maintained. One gets a true feeling of what it is like to live in an architecturally classic Los Angeles house. I would definitely stay here again--it is a gem in a local market that I have seen diminishing in both quality and quantity of housing stock. It is very well priced, exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated and, as noted above, Sam is the kind of outstanding host that makes renting through VRBO so reliable, easy, and satisfying. We stayed for nine days and used the house as a base to go to Malibu, Hollywood, downtown, the San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, Culver City, and mid-city/Park-La Brea. It perfectly situated to get to each surprisingly quickly (even in LA traffic). The house is also about 15 minutes or so from LAX--an added bonus. It is a VERY easy hop to the beaches in shopping in Santa Monica, hipster area of Venice (Abbot Kinney), and newly redone shopping plaza in Century City. Very easy and quick trip to get to Malibu, the Valley, downtown, West Hollywood and mid-city, too. ,In sum, very highly recommended and fully deserving of the full stars.

Home Away from home experience

This was truly a Home Away from home experience. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! The house was so comfortable, private with every little detail taken into consideration. From cool Art work to Lemon and Orange trees in the private back yard. Centrally located in Culver City with easy access to Venice beach, Hollywood and all the major freeways to go North and South. Sam & Regina were amazing hosts. Extremely easy to communicate with and responded immediately when we contacted them. I asked if they had a BBQ grill and Sam showed up the following day with a new grill and put it together in the pouring rain. We planned to stay for 2 weeks and ended up staying 4 weeks. This home is absolutely perfect for short term and extended stays for vacations and business trips in the Los Angeles area. Thanks again for having us Sam & Regina, Cheers!
