This thriving district plays host to a diverse range of businesses offering up great places to eat and drink, a ton of dance floors, spots to shop and grab coffee, a brewery, tattoo parlors and much, much more.

Guests will be given virtual keys in order to access the unit. You must have a smartphone to access the unit. There are no keys available. Gotta love technology!

The Space

The apartment has front and rear entrances, is well appointed, and has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds (with mattress protectors), a pull out sofa (also includes a mattress protector), modern showers, and living room.

Each bedroom is equipped with an iron, ironing board, storage rack, luggage rack, 25 non slip hangers, 2 bath robes with 2 pair of disposable slippers, and an Amazon Echo.

This unit is ultra-unique due to its Smart Home capabilities.

Guest Access

Each guest will be required to download the August Lock App in order to have access to the unit. Guests will have access to Amazon Alexa which will aid in the execution of various smart home functions. Alexa has control over several lights, the thermostat, and even serves as a personal jukebox, amongst a plethora of other cool voice operated functions. You can view the full list of functions in the house manual after booking.

The Neighborhood

According to The Grove STL, The Grove business district stretches nearly one-mile along Manchester Avenue between Kingshighway and Vandeventer. This thriving district plays host to a diverse range of businesses offering up great places to eat and drink, a multitude of dance floors, spots to shop and grab coffee, a brewery, tattoo parlors and much, much more. With over 50 business and several organizations devoted to improving the vitality of the area, this growing commercial district bringing energy to the neighborhood. The Grove was originally called Adam’s Grove in the 1950s, when it served as a bustling commercial district in the City of St. Louis. Since that time, the strip along Manchester Avenue experienced urban decline. Known for its diverse community, The Grove is home to several LGBT friendly businesses, several of which lead the initial wave of investment in the area, starting with Attitudes Night Club opening in the 1980s. In recent years, community members devoted to filling one vacant storefront at a time, have revitalized the district. “The Grove” name was coined in collaboration of various community members in an effort to re-brand the growing commercial district.

Nicely Decorated! Owner very responsive.

Great place to stay. The Grove Street has several nice restaurants and bars. We were in town for the SEC Tournament and the location is less than 4 miles to the Scottrade Center. Uber rides about $10 to downtown.
